Quillback Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 Fished SWEPCO with my buddy Jeb yesterday, the fishing was decent, we caught 20 bass on c-rigs. The bass in the lake are really solid, not fat, just big ol' chunks and fight hard. It's been 6 or 7 years since I have been over there. being a warm water power plant lake it gets a lot of pressure in the winter, but in the past if you went during the week you might see another 5 or 6 boats out there, but that has changed. The lot was full, probably 15 rigs in the lot, and that's a lot on a relatively small lake. It must be crazy on a Saturday, I might drive over there Saturday just to check it out. Fishing in crowds, no matter how good, is not for me, so dunno if I'll be back there this year, might give it a shot in the spring once the crowds have moved on. bfishn 1
ollie Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 I've driven past there a couple of times and always wondered how it would fish. Good info there, thanks for sharing.
