Thought I'd get out, now that I'm healthy again, and take advantage of the winter solstice letting me sleep in just a bit before sunrise at 7:20.

Was a bit of a grind. I couldn't find any real pattern. Got a few schooled up K's but for the most part those stacked up really didn't want anything and we're pretty tight-lipped. The few I did get I got off at Ned rig.

Moved back in some coves and started fishing a little more active and got some K's both on a rock crawler and a bandit 200. Fishing rocky banks and channel swings. Nothing of real size but the larger fish did come off the crankbaits, specifically the bandit seemed to produce slightly bigger fish.

Overall not a stellar day but ended up with 10, though none photo worthy.

There were a lot of striper fishermen around horseshoe bend though I didn't see anybody catching any. Didn't see any top water either.

Water temp 49.5
