Boonville Area Trout Tournament 2024

On March 17,2024 we held our 40th gathering of novice fishermen to try and catch the elusive trout and we did so using many different baits such as count down rapalas, spoons, small crankbaits while others tried live bait like worms and minnows with some luck on all. Saturday evening was a tremendous steak fry and raffle for prizes with the winners being extremely happy just like the guys that won the tournament.The results are 1st place stringer Jim Hayes and Pete LaBoube with 11.83lbs 2nd place Riley, Maupin &Bullard with 7.38lbs and 3rd Hoffstetter, Wolf & Mohrman with 7.35lbs "ouch"! Big fish went to LaBoube with 4.05 Brown while 2nd went to Hayes with a 2.30 rainbow and 3rd was Bullard with a 1.60 rainbow. Quite a few fish were caught and we all had a great time thanks to the staff at Lilley's and a special Thanks to Phil for weighing our fish.
