Quillback
AGFC urges outdoor enthusiasts and anglers to be cautious when floating Crooked Creek in Marion County. Due to the devastating tornados that swept across the northern part of the state on Memorial Day weekend, a large number of trees and other storm debris have made their way into the stream. Downed trees in the river can act like “strainers” and be potential hazards for floaters. The most impacted section of Crooked Creek is from Pyatt to the Mark Oliver Access. Please always practice safe canoeing and kayaking by wearing a life jacket and letting others know where you are going to be and when you will be off the water.
