Terrierman Posted July 16 Posted July 16 He's quite a stud. Incredibly close to winning the ASG home run derby last night.Hope the Royals can keep him.
Quillback Posted July 17 Posted July 17 I've been following KC this year and yes he is quite the player. They signed him to an eleven year deal, but the last 4 years are player option, so he'll be around for 7 years for sure unless the Royals trade him. Royals need some arms in the bullpen. Terrierman 1
DADAKOTA Posted July 17 Posted July 17 The pitcher he used for the derby was very inconsistent. A better pitcher and he wins easily. Terrierman 1
Quillback Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Bobby is 12 for 15 since the All-Star break ended. 4 straight 3 hit games. Last night he had a homer, triple, and a double. Royals have won all 4 games since the break ended. Terrierman 1
Members Ozarkshillbilly Posted July 24 Members Posted July 24 He’s a player for sure. Need some relief and a little more consistency from some other players. A fun team to watch. Me, I’m still hoping for another I-70 World Series.
Quillback Posted July 30 Posted July 30 Last night he went 4-5 with a game winning grand slam in the 8th. Last out of the game, he had a shot hit to him, laid out on the grass to snag it with his head pointing directly away from first, jumped up and threw the runner out. Incredible play. He now leads MLB in batting with a .347 average. Terrierman 1
Quillback Posted August 2 Posted August 2 Average upped to .350. Hit his 20th HR last night which makes him the first MLB player in MLB history to start their first three seasons 20/20. As in at least 20 HR's and 20 stolen bases.

Quillback Posted August 5 Posted August 5 Well he has slowed down, which was inevitable. However, Royals pulled it out last night with a 3 run, pinch HR from Melendez.
