An old gray day on the Niangua

I use to go to Fort Bennett get small spinners and did well.

One time guy was catching Trout on Minnows I didn't have any but I had a Black and White Jig that worked well. 

Another time I was at Barclay guy was down there very flustered. Said he had never caught a Trout.

Let me see. Well he had about 10 pound line on and about #4 hook. Tied him on 2 pound leader and #14 hook.  First cast he caught a Trout.  He was sooo happy.
