I fished Stockton tuesday for about 4 hrs. Fished mainlake for smallies. There was a lot of floating algae. And if you fished on the bottom in less than 15 fow you were in a lot of rock snot. Is the lake turning over? Is this an annual ordeal? Just this part of the lake? Any info appreciated.

It happens every spring.  Farm fertilizer runoff is supposedly the culprit.
