Pepe Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I’m on Bull Shoals but considering a move to NWA thus utilizing Beaver Lake. I lived near Tablerock for decades and chose BSL to escape crowds. I love the beauty of BSL and weekday fishing is gloriously uncrowded but I’m needing more medical care going forward. I would welcome your thoughts and experiences. Quillback and Daryk Campbell Sr 2
Quillback Posted January 14 Posted January 14 If you lived on the east side of Rogers near the HWY 12 bridge then that would put you really close to the Prairie Creek launch and you'd be 20-30 minutes from the Mercy hospital and all the satellite health care specialists that are in that general area. From there you could trailer your boat to the dam end of the lake or to the south end of the lake at Hickory Creek, about a half hour to each. Rogers is a busy area, stoplights and traffic. Of course you can say that about all of NWA, it has grown a lot. Ron Burgundy 1
Members razorbackfan4life Posted January 17 Members Posted January 17 I agree with Quillback. If you wanted even more seclusion you could live near Rocky Branch area. It's about 10-15 minutes further east on HWY 12 from the bridge, but there's a couple of boat ramps to choose from. From the ramp area its about 25 minutes from down town old Rogers, and probably 35-40 minutes from Mercy depending on how far out you wanted to live. Really beautiful and quiet in that area.
