Members razorbackfan4life Posted April 5 Members Posted April 5 I'm probably going to go over to Grove and bass fish this upcoming week. I cannot find any bass reports online other than the generic ODWC reports. Just curious if the spawn is just getting started, full boar, or over. Water temp etc.. Thanks Quillback 1
tjm Posted April 5 Posted April 5 There is a Facebook group that should have reports, as people post there every day, Grand Fishing Report
Quillback Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I'll be curious to hear how you do. A local fishing club has fished Eucha the last couple of weeks, they had a great day 2 weeks ago, several over 5 lbs. landed. Maybe that will translate well for Grand.
Members razorbackfan4life Posted April 5 Author Members Posted April 5 Thank you TJM I found a post on their facebook page from a few days ago. Sounds like the first round of spawners are up. Which means next two weeks should be gang busters. I've already cleaned the boat, tied on everything I want to throw. Hopefully its a memorable trip. Quillback, I caught my one and only wall mounted fish on Lake Eucha when I was maybe 12 years old. It was 6.45 lbs. Fish was almost big as me.. haha. It was part of the Like Father Like Son fishing circuit that my uncle and I fished together.(Dad fished it with my older brother). I went over there a couple of years ago looking for crappie, but didn't have much luck. Caught several bass though. It's a great little lake. tjm and Quillback 2
ollie Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Right now the water is on the rise or at least it was a couple day ago. I have been hearing reports of the crappie starting to move up into shallow water. You can also give Grand Lake sports center a call and they could probably tell you as well.
