patfish Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 I have a BRAND NEW spool of Cortland 444 Tropic Plus Lazerline Redfish WF 9 F floating rocket taper that I have no use for. Anyone want it? I'll even ship it to ya, FREE. Send me a PM with your address and I'll send it out this week.

patfish Posted November 25, 2007 Author Posted November 25, 2007 Thanks Dano. I got it for free from a Cortland rep a couple of years ago, he gave me 4 or 5 different spools. So I figure I can't really charge anyone for it, don't want to ruin my mojo. Oh, yeah, someone may know the answer to this.... The Cortland guy gave me a spool of 444SL WF 4.5 floating line, can I use that on my 5wt or would it serve me better to use it on my 3wt? Or, am I doomed to buy a 4wt? Hate it when I'm forced into getting new gear.
Danoinark Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Pat I have read about those. I think they are appropriate for 4 or 5 wt rods. I would go ahead and spool er up. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
