not exactly

Well okay, but when everybody tells me how dorky I look in my new Simms waders and cheap old green Orvis boots, I'm going to tell them that Michael Kyle thinks I look sexy!

I was unaware of the runway down at Taney. I thought our main reason was to catch fish not put on a fashion show, Sally.

Simms Rivertek is the my current boot and the most comfortable I've worn. But I've never tried the Chotas. The only thing I didn't like about the riverteks was the speed lace system. It worked well but it wore out after just a few trips. But I just replaced them with regular laces. The riverteks have also held up better than anything I've had so far too.

I don't think Simms makes them anymore? But I think you can still find them some places at closeout prices if you are interested. I purchase mine from Michael at BCO several years ago.

Ok, that comment just offends me.

I've seen my aunt Sally (who helped introduce me to fly fishing) wear mismatched wading boots because grabbing the matched pair took too much time away from the stream, and "they're a-risin'!" Runway indeed ;)

I knew that but it was really cold that day and I wanted to feel a Smallie on the end of my line. Live Minnow on a Splitshot did the trick for that 18" Fox River Smallie in Dec.
