Don Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Hey Guys, I'm still looking over my schedule for the New Years eve. I may just try to make it down to meet some of you folks and see some of the ones I already know. But, if I do...you guys have to promise not to make fun of my fly-fishing abilities. I've never fished Taney so you may have to bring along a fine looking woman to hold my hand. Hey Rich...I'll ask a few if you will ask a few (bring some of those women) as well. I've seen you knock the snot of those bows at Bennett on those cracklebacks. Sometimes they are good near the top in choppy water especially the last hour before sunset. I hear red and orange works well lately. Which leads to: if cracklebacks are working, soft hackles might come into play as well. Otherwiae, if you are nymphing at Taney in the winter, bring some very small scuds...etc. See ya there.....Don May Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
duckydoty Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 I'll bring a few dozen Krispy Kreme dognuts for the early birds. I have a small gas grill I can bring also. duckydoty A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ozark Trout Runners
Micheal Kyle Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 I guess that is why my dog has been in a bad mood lately. MU plays at the cotton bowl at 10:30 so I will bring a small tv and something to eat, maybe some hopps and barley To Know People Is To Know Thier Ways!

Flysmallie Posted December 28, 2007 Posted December 28, 2007 Well, along with my unbelievable fish catching abilities, I will be bringing something to eat. Just not sure what to bring yet. I was just going to pick up some doughnuts, but Duckydoty stole my idea. Of course he did say that he was doing this for the early birds, and to him early probably means 1:00 am.
