I remember catching bowcuts hybrids a while ago (20 years) unsure why things settled on just 'bows n browns

Some of the rainbows I've caught in Taneycomo could almost pass for a cutbow. They had bright markings underneath the gill plate like a cutthroat.

To me there is no more prettier fish than the Brookie. I would love to see them stocked unless there is some ecological reason not too.

i can't see any ecological reason, there are rivers in arkansas that have browns, rainbows, brooks, and cutts all together and the fishing is pretty good from what i've heard

Cute animals taste better.

Absolutely...the White and Norfork hold both...and its exciting to get an Ozarks Grand Slam..

I too have caught some of those that I have had to look twice at, thinking they were cuts.

i wonder if there's any way to convince mdc to start stocking them, i'd sign a petition if one got started... i'm sure tu would back it too.

I was thinking the same. Phil might be able to give us a more indept discussion of whether it has been discussed before either by the MDC or the Branson TU.
