Gary Lange Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 Wasn't just picking on the smallmouth forum... What Smallmouth forum? I didn't know there was one down this way. I agree that non-registered browsers shouldn't be able to post but they should be able to look a site over and see if it is the type of site they are looking for. Respect your Environment and others right to use it!
Members wvu Posted February 3, 2008 Members Posted February 3, 2008 I think this is the best forum, for fishing info and tips. I like it the way it is.
Members tinner Posted February 4, 2008 Members Posted February 4, 2008 I love the forum. I think guest should be able to see the topics and threads before registering. I know I wouldn't have signed up if I didn't know what the forum consisted of. Thanks to all for putting on a great foum.
TroutBum4wt Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 I like the current format. No complaints. "Where There Are Trout, There's Hope" - John Gierach
RSBreth Posted February 5, 2008 Posted February 5, 2008 I love the forum, belong to others but rarely post on them. And having to register to view just sucks when all you have access to is a public computer. I need to post more here but have limited time. Do not change a thing. Oh, if I'm also still a member, how could anyone claim Phil discriminates? Someone is blowing smoke.
Members Oldschoolcane Posted February 8, 2008 Members Posted February 8, 2008 Phil, I like this forum so much just because you care what happens here. I think if a user/viewer wants to participate they'l go to the extra trouble of an account setup. If thats more trouble for them than they can handle then so be it, if its too easy you'll have more e-issues on your hands than you want. Accountability is good. Tim
Members Sherwood Flycaster Posted February 8, 2008 Members Posted February 8, 2008 This is the only forum that I belong to that focuses on my biggest passion in life, and I care not to even bother lookin for another- it has everything a Missouri boy like myself could need at any given time with any given plan in mind. I may not post all too much, but I try and absorb as much as I can- and appreciate and respect all members and their input, offers of assistance and friendship, and just plain sharing of experiences of the greatest activity in the world. A salute to all, and especially to Phil for his efforts to keep this thing going and growing- I'm sure sometimes it can be a real pain in the keister! Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn. ~Chuck Clark
