jjtroutbum Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 A very particular smiley from another board comes to mind. But certainly not when it comes to beautiful fishing reports. Members Old Stumbler Posted February 17, 2008 Members Posted February 17, 2008 Wonderful pics Ducky. I wished I hadn't wussed out on your invite. I would probably have scared all the fish off. Enjoyed your photos. Those are for a good studio photo show for sure. If it wasn't for guys like you, us homers would never see those fish. Proud to call you a friend. Dwayne and Pam I hate those "toe stumblin" rocks!!!

jscheetz Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 First off as others have said - a beautiful report! It has inspired me to do better reports myself! Second - I have fished Crane a few times from the park in town going upstream - or from the access roads (two different ones) above or upstream from town. Is there another access downstream? Or do you access the downstream section from the town park? Thanks again for the report - JS "We are living in the midst of a Creation that is mostly mysterious - that even when visible, is never fully imaginable". -Wendell Berry-
chub minnow Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 JS-There is another access downstream. Check this link: mdc.mo.gov/documents/area_brochures/8307map.pdf I'm having trouble loading this right now, but it worked before. Let me know if it works for you.
Bman Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 WOW!!! What a report.Sure has calmed the cabin fever. Wondering if those crawfish get chased by smallies. The only good line is a tight line
