Sometimes when I get the "Can't go fishing blues" I do a little planning with this map.

It is a little clumsy to use but the contour is good. I use Topo Quest for Table Rock too.

This is the best info I've seen on this site since I've been coming here!

I have very basic electronics and only on the bow, so map study is becoming a very important part of my quest to become a better angler.  Fishing Hot Spots maps have been my best bet but are 10ft contour intervals so 1ft is going to be very useful...

Thanks for the great info!

Those are great!

One of my favorite sites to look at is http://www.historicaerials.com/

They have a variety of old aerial photos similar to the modern Google Earth pictures as well as a variety of Topo Maps. They have the Stockton area in 1950.  Be sure to click on the "compare" button where you can select 1950 on one side and a more modern image on the other and slide back and forth to compare.  Zoom way in and you'll get a great look at the land before the lake was there.

Great site to kill some time with.  I've figured out why some of my favorite spots hold fish when I started looking around the pre-lake images

Try out this website http://webapp.navionics.com

You can pull it up on your phone too if you have service out on the water.
