Anyone know where to get light action casting rods around Stl

Like to find a $50-60  5’6” or a 6’ light casting rod if possible for my small omega spincaster. Anyone know where to find any selection for them around stl, cause cabelas, bass pro, and academy all dont have them, and I usually only can find 1 type from denny dennis, and I’d like to upgrade a bit from that.

Harris come in to DD and talk to me or PM on this forum.  I kind of need to know what weights  you want to throw.  We can probably find something for you but may have to order it, which we do for people all the time.  As you already know the selection of baitcasters in that length in light power is rather limited.  I can think of a couple off hand but the prices are above your range.

I'm surprised Bps doesn't have anything you like in one of their store brands.  It's about all they carry, but they do have a great selection of their stuff.  You almost need to go online for specific brands/models unless you get lucky. 

 

Also....a sub 6ft light power casting rod is a really uncommon rod....I've run into similar issues looking for specific sizes/actions and tapers.  Most stores carry a million 7ft med and med heavy rods but pickings are slim for specific stuff. 🤬

Have two customs I made for my daughters. 5 6” light action. One pink one  purple. IM6 blanks from mudhole. The girls prefer my spinning & fly  rods now so these are available. Fuji seats & Fuji Alconite guides. Probably $80 into each of them but will take $50 for the pair. Reels included.

Thanks for providing some options guys, I’m trying to figure out what I’m going to end up doing. I’d like to check out the ones Gavin has and go from there since that seems like the best deal right now and I like the handle profiles on those.
