Launched at about 0730 and pulled out at 2:30 PM. Water is stained green, temp was around 45 degrees. Very little wind for most of the day.
Fish were scattered, most of my bites came from rocky points and a long underwater ledge that runs off the end of a bluff. I caught one little spot 50 feet down on an ice jig and another one on top that hit the Zig Jig. Most fish however, came in 10-20 FOW. Caught a dozen, mostly spots with one smallie and a couple of largemouth. Ned rig was my best bait, but caught a couple on the Zig Jig and another on the McStick.
Quite a bit of surface activity, bass were up chasing shad - problem was they weren't schooling and were scattered so never could get on a bunch of them. Might have been a good day to slow roll a Redfin, didn't have any in the boat unfortunately.
