    Finicky Trout?

There are always places on Roaring River to fish alone, you just have to hike.
  5. you didn't have to smoke all of it...... moderation man....... its Labrador
  6. Should have some low water by next weekend, hopefully
  7. The top problem domestically is our sensitivity. People are pathetic. I find it repulsive that what was once right is wrong and what was (is) right is wrong.
  8. That is one of the scariest things that I have ever read.
  9. Its winter C and R right now, open Fri-Mon

    1/17 Report

Well done ollie, i picked off a couple bows today in a 45 min quickie before I had to get home. No browns for the first time in a while for me.
  14. The feds?
  15. Maybe we have all forgotten that our founding fathers were all traitors, who broke the law........ let that sink in. Do you all love the government or do you love what our country (used to) stands for? wrench seems to be the mist logical voice on this board right now
  16. But because they are poor, black, oppressed, and have bad hair, as well as knowing that 150 yrs ago one of their GREAT GREAT grandparents may have been a slave (to nobody who is still alive) its ok, they are just struggling, trying to get by in the (urban) jungle.
  17. I let my princes be whatever they need to be , #8s are my go to size. ( so yes i guess I do)
  18. Had they not been sent back to prison would this have happened? I doubt it and respect the man for standing up for what he believes is right. Doesn't mean I agree with everything he does....
  19. I should note, although I consider myself a conservative Christian, I do have a few liberal leanings
  20. A lot of speculation on the poaching. I dont agree with everything bundy is doing, I do feel as if the government is overusing its power to set an example and to keep others too afraid to challenge. To me (a conservative libertarian, the government should not interfere with our lives, it was meant to protect us and to serve the people (not financially but thats another topic ugh)) and this entire thing reeks of too much government oversight. Public land is all of ours to share, they were legally utilizing the land, controversially set a fire, were convicted and did their time and now have to go back and serve more time because someone thought they should. Sending them back to prison for a crime they have already served time for is where I have a MAJOR issue, not the original sentencing. If they were incorrectly sentenced, thats on the judge, not them. As for the poaching, that is a story spun and blown up by the media to paint them as bad people, and it worked. Maybe they did start the fire to cover it up, but they were NOT convicted and it is irrelevant to the core issue at hand.

  22. Everyone on here seems to have forgotten the reason for this. They were convicted of arson, served their time in prison, and then when da govamint decided they didn't do enough time they were sent back to the big house. THAT IS HEINOUS. I have a great amount of respect for Americans who aren't afraid to stand up to the government when the government has overstepped its boundaries.
  23. I would hire a guide with them generating non stop, but thats me. Or even better, hit up a freestone like NFOW or 11 pt in a couple weeks when flows have dropped a bit more. Wading would be a little bit tricky.
  24. Throw some bigger midges (14-16) and maybe drop an attractor pattern in those middle sizes and see what happens. I fish a lot of #10 and #12 nymphs on freestones and usually do fairly well. Sometimes you just have to go small though. A few weeks ago me and Amery had to go down to #20 to get bit on beaver.
  25. DONT DO IT!!!! HE IS A BANK ROBBER
