  1. Just purchased Xurons online. Thanks for the advice guys.
  2. Listing for a friend. The Curados are $50 and the Calcutta reels are $75. Give him a call. He lives in Rogers and works in Bentonville. His number is 479-644-7806. Ask for Bill
  3. There are some great fishermen in the lower tier brackets.
  4. Don't forget to put your lineups in!
  5. Might have to try them.
  6. Try getting one or two megabass. You won't regret it. When water is less than 60 degrees with a little wind try it out.
  7. I googled them and no one has them anymore. It's weird because people rave about them.
  8. I figured out the brand. Leadmaster. Now I have to find some.
  9. Those aren't it either. Hook line and sinker used to sell them.
  10. Those are not the ones. The split ring point is on top of other side and much thinner and sharper.
  11. I used to have split ring pliers that had orange rubberized handles on them. They had a thin sharp point for small split rings. I don't remember the brand and can't find them for sale anymore. Does anyone know the name and where I can find them? Thanks.
  12. I tried the RC Stx yesterday. Though it looks like a megabass it doesn't feel or react like a megabass. I think with a little tweaking with weight distribution it will be a fine bait.
  13. Well. My day at Grand started out pretty good. Caught one on an A-rig in a Marina. Next one came in 2ft of water on Jig behind a dock. 3rd was on a squarebill on shallow rip rap in 4ft. I was by a bridge so it got deeper the closer I got to the bridge and switched to a Wart. Lost one and caught another one there. Went looking around for a couple hours with nothing. Found a man made jetty in a cove that had the only deep water in the area and lost a 4 plus on the Wart right at the boat. Gut shot a small Carp with crankbait and that was about it. After the sun came out the fish quit biting for me. I did find some great spawning and staging areas that I hope come into play in 3 weeks. Nice to be on the lake this time of year and not get beaten up by the wind.
  14. I kept this picture for such an occasion as this. Love it.
  15. Never had that last color Champ. I'll have to try that one. Looks great.
  16. That Ellegy Bone is killer in the early hours of the day for me.
  17. Few years back we tore them up in the White River on Table Rock shad. The water had some stain to it though. It was late February and a warm rain came through. WWart and Jerkbait city. The fish in my profile picture were caught that day.
  18. You need to check out Bass Edge podcast with Scott Suggs. He talks about lakes in Kansas that are similar to your lakes in Nebraska. He says to take a piece of conduit and constantly check bottom for hard surface. He said it will be hard to find but if you do you will own said lake. Good luck.
  19. Same reason they say that Lake Brittany in Bella Vista could produce a state record bass. Trout! Sorry for mentioning one of your sacred lakes Champ. ?
  20. You too Bill. My money is on you to be more successful today. Ha
  21. Hope you are right .
  22. Prepared for anything I guess. Have a Spinnerbait and drop shot that I left out of the picture. I'm headed to Grand tomorrow. Plan on power fishing tomorrow. Having trouble locating them right now so I'm gonna hit a bunch of spots instead of staying in one area and grinding it out.
  23. They always say to look out for the guys that have one or two rods on the deck. Obviously I'm a threat to no one. Ha
  24. I have an extra Hds 7 laying around since I got my new Gen 3 hds 9. Thinking about putting it on the front with my other 7. That way I can utilize 2 screens. All I would need is another mount and power cable. Then take structure plug in off existing unit and plug in the newly added one. Hate just leave a good unit laying around.
