Hard to justify the difference in price. Especially when Merc is a proven motor and could be rebuilt for less than the difference in price. I'm sure Rude is nice I don't know enough about them nor have I used one. They sure look cool.

Those evinrude motors are really expensive I guess. Every boat I see for sale with one seems to be $5-$10000 higher than same boat with yamaha or Merc.

Bill Babler really likes his I think. Hopefully he will chime in on the subject.

I've been in waves like that twice. Once on Falcon and another at Stockton. It's scary. Both lakes run north and south so we all know how bad those get.

$81.00 for scale and grip. It comes with a hook that I had to remove to put the Grip Jr on.

Went to shopMLF.com and looked at the scales and the grip. I saved money on shipping and price by going through EBay. Looking forward to using it.

I've ran against Basscats with 200 Mercs in my Skeeter 20i with a 250 Hpdi and they can outrun me. Quick boats.

I agree on Mercer. Zona has toned it down a bit on BASS events. I have talked to Zona twice in the past. He is a nice guy. I did get the feeling that the way he acts isn't an act. I think he really is that goofy. His shows aren't what they use to be but it's good entertainment during the winter time.

Honey Hole is a good show. I like that guy. Seems to be a regular joe. Those Schooled by Denny Brauer shows were excellent. For those who haven't seen them check em out on YouTube. I've only seen a couple episodes. If anyone out there has copies of his shows I would love to purchase or borrow them. I like informative shows not one long infomercial that showcases whatever bait they are pimping that day. I did watch some raw footage from MLF the other day with KVD. It was interesting. He was casting over and over to one area with various baits. I never would have stayed in one spot that long but it goes to show that when those guys know there are fish in an area they are gonna eventually catch them.

I'm trying to find some areas that are relatively close to Wolf creek. Get more fishing in than running to the dam. Tournament is March 11th. Should be perfect pre spawn conditions. I'm scouting more than I am concerned about catching them. Water temps still around 49?

It's tough over there Champ. Not sure where to go or how to catch them. Makes me feel a little better about the 3 I caught when I went. What section of the lake did you fish so I can avoid it this weekend? Ha.

I have several of those 3700 sized plastic boxes that have only 2 sides. The plastic packages fit perfectly in each side. I think they are Falcon brand. There used to be some awesome clear plastic boxes. Bass Pro XPS quit making them and I think Falcon did too. I love those XPS crankbait boxes.

That might be too harsh. I own a glass boat myself and have dealt with more good folks than bad. I just like the thought of tin only concept. Apologize if I offended anyone. My bad.

That show is awful. Charlie gets pissed when someone beats him. I love that part of it.

Dang it. You caught me. Ha. On a serious note I do think there is a draw to this format due to a lot of idiot pro wanna be glass boat owners. You would eliminate a lot of riff raff with tin only tournament and have a bunch of good folks that just enjoy fishing.
