  1. Looks like you were staying at Southwinds, we were there the 3rd and 4th and had about the same success. We trolled around using jigs. Heading back tomorrow to try it all again.
  2. I would think that being on the lake would be one of the safest places to be. I'm not a Dr or anything but being out on the lake, as long as there's not 1500 skiers on the water should be safe. Still better than workin...even from home.
  3. that's a beautiful, healthy fish. Nice Job
  4. that's a beauty She looks pretty fat. Any eggs?

  6. That is a great fish, and catching it her first time Walleye fishing... WOW ... what an accomplishment. She may be a little disappointed the next time she goes out, not all walleye are that size in Stockton (as we all know), but figure that thrill should last a lifetime anyway.
  7. loved the video, I had my grandson watch it also. We're both ready to go. Fever just went up a couple degrees

Been fishing Stockton 30 years, finally caught a fish worth bragging about. Thought I had a carp but was pleasantly surprised. White road runner did the trick in Sons Creek. Fishing for crappie what a lucky break. 28" 8#
  16. great post appreciate the pics of some nice whites. Will be fishing Stockton Thursday-Saturday this week and hoping to get into some of that action.
  17. Other than Bluegill and an occasional drum, what do you catch on crickets?
  18. I bet that Boy there had a picnic along with Dad. With those quality whites, you guys caught, you may have to take a day or 2 to rest up, your arms gotta be sore.
  19. last week there were a few being caught around CC access and up Turnback creek
  20. Fished CC Friday afternoon and Saturday after the rain until about 5pm. Was able to find some 56-60 degree water and got into some real nice whites and some nice 12 to 14-1/2" crappie, too. All had eggs and caught all in 6' or less depth. water was murky to stained. Water had lots of trash in it and had to clean your jig after every cast. Fish seamed to bite better when the sun was out. Color didn't matter as long as it had metal fleck in it. My 2 fishin buddys and I boated about 38 total over the 2 days, and couldn't believe our luck.
  21. Thanks. I am heading there Friday and will update when I get back.
  22. Has anyone been having any luck at CC or know the water temperature their? Planning on being there next weekend and would appreciate any info.
  23. If you can stand the wind go up to the darn and troll along it with jigs or jigs and minnow in about 10-20 ft and move in if the bite aint there. They ought to be spawning sometime in the next couple weeks
