This isn't an image so sorry, I will have to go thru my images and find some. This is a vid from the Current River not to far above Cave Spring, I thought you guys would like. My wife was passed out in the front of the canoe and never saw them. I like how the deer wanted to cross but the flow of the river kept pulling us down towards them, forcing them down stream and scaring the Blue Herron. The worst part of this float was when we were @ the mouth of Cave Spring to the river I was basicly screwing around with a huge jointed Brown Trout Rapala, not thinking I was going to catch much. I hooked into one of the biggest Brown Trout I have ever seen on that river, he jumped pretty good and fired up stream like a Bonefish and snapped me off like a little biotch.Moral to the story you can hook up anywhere, anytime even if you don't think so and don't get to drunk to fish.

Rob, if you are wanting to put in above HWY E, take HWY 44 S to HWY 5 S out of Lebanon all the way to Hartville.Go left on HWY 38 out of Hartville for about 5 miles.Heres where it gets tricky there is going to be a hard left and I mean very hard left hand turn onto Robinette Rd, it's very easy to miss then proceed about a mile and this runs into the river.You are now about 4 miles approx above HWY E. It's kind of skinny up there but it's killer. I hope your friend who had a horrible accident is doing better??? and keep studying @ Rolla!!!!

I played in an epic pond hockey game last night.We are playing tonight and tomorrow night @ Greenbriar C.C. There is the most perfect pond with high banks the entire way around about twice the size of an ice rink. The kids I was playing with brought two goals it was sweet!!! If anyone wants to play go to Dougherty Ferry rd and Des Peres rd, look to the left for the lake and we'll be there.

Now, if we could just do something about Japan, then some of the Ocean's mammals and fishes would have half a fighting chance.Hell they round up Dolphin over there and ruthlessly gaff them and beat um over the head??? for what??? seceret oils to bathe in... The Japanese will net, harpoon, kill, cheat and steal to get their hands on just about any oceans creatures. They are horrible as are some of Scandinavian countries, there is also a whole bunch of third world countries that trash the oceans under the guise that they don't know any better or it's tradition....give me a break!!!

Gary, I couldn't agree with you more. It's a blurry line between what we want and need from the Wilderness. I remember when I lived and worked in Colorado out of college for Ralston Purina.I lived and worked in Summit County @ Arapahoe Basin, but I remember one of the most grusome accounts of a Cougar attack and kill back then, I think it was 1992 or 1991. A cross country star for a highschool just east of Estes Park was on a training run in a very small wooded area on the campus of the school when a Cougar stalked, attacked and ate the young man. The cougar claimed his body and fed on it for two days and was guarding it when authorities killed the Cougar.The worst part was the young man was 17 about 165 pounds and in the local papers there were pics of the claw marks in the soil the boy was making in an attempt not to be dragged up a steep hill ajacent to the track where he was attacked. I guess some people would think that is a good death???? sounds like an absolute nightmare to me....Cougar's generally try to scalp you and go right for your neck when they attack humans, which isn't very often. I still don't think I would just kill a Cougar @ our farm, but I would be darn scared for my daughter when out there. My uncle lives in New Mexico and has a large piece of land, he says if you keep a little pack of Back&Tan Coon Hounds and Blueticks they will run off just about all of your Cougar problems.They love to run em and tree them.

I always like these threads!! My very cool wife gave me $300 in BPS gift cards for Christmas. I thought I would add another baitcaster to the mountain of tackle in my fishermans dude den. I lost or it was actually stolen from the dock at Indian Point a Shimano Curado, which I have always enjoyed. My dad swears the BPS Johnny Morris signature and gold series are just as good as the Curado. I could save the money and go with the BPS reel, I just don't have any experience with them. I was wondering if there are any opinions or if any of you have used both of these reels. Thanks for the opinions and this week would be a good week to go hit the winter smallies holes on the Meramec....I'm down for Thursday, might put in @ Stanton. Thanks fellas and Cricket did you catch anything on your Bday??? smallies that is.

Congrats Gator on that beautiful grandaughter, you should be proud. I was watching priceless moments all weekend with my new baby Emily's first Christmas, it was awsome!!! I can't wait to get her on the boat this spring and floating the river, she already has her own kayak and she can't walk yet....I'm a sucker!!!

both countries emmision rates will still be going up just not as fast of a rate as they currently are.well aren't they special!!!! they really do care about the enviroment...they really do!!!
