  1. It's okay Seth.... I am one of those guys too. I mostly fish the big craw but in finesse situations I go to our finesse jig and our little craw as a trailer

  3. Evilcatfish and Daryk Campbell I am soo sorry I didn't hold on to some merch for you guys!!!.....I will make it up to you. We have decided as a company that we will have one day a month where we will have our products available at our "crawshack".....I really like this idea and am thinking about bringing my smoker out to the shack early on these days and just making a full day of it with food and in between I will be doing jigheads.....So that being said this one day a month will be more of a celebration of river fishing and our products, come by and have some food and or a beer??? you can meet my goofy butt and maybe Hog Wally?? This idea may flounder but, I like it.....we shall see??? I would also like to thank the Missouri Smallmouth Alliance as they are just a tremendous group of people who our doing great things.... They ROCK!!!! Seriously though thank you to them for hosting our release party so to speak. If anyone on this forum has the need to do something for our rivers and become an advocate for advancing our Smallmouth fishing in this state join this group, I just can't say enough good things about them as a group and what they do Also for forum members like JonsFolly and Seth or Carp Tracker making the drives you did last night to be at our event means a ton to me personally and please try to come by the crawshack on one of upcoming open houses and I will take care of you.....you guys are awesome!!!!!!
  4. Thus far this Winter season has been an anamoly....fish are not in their obvious and typical spots.....we need a high water event but, not too high
  5. Wow Andy!!!!! I am sooo sorry Try to be strong for those kids....that is just horrible, life is very fragile....my family is praying for you right now. Very tough
  6. Forensics report say it was a dismembered male between 5'8" and 6'2".
  7. I live in Kirkwood Missouri one of the biggest bastions for liberal anti gun freaks in the state. A lot of my friends when they see me with a shoulder harness and a Sig tucked in there get scared and I have seen comments on this forum that would suggest that I am a afraid because I carry. It's no biggie but, the criminal element that exist in this country is appalling.
  8. Absolutely nuts......and people give me crap for carrying a gun to the river??? http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/dismembered-remains-found-in-burn-pile-near-meramec-river-appear/article_97eef079-0b4e-5663-9be3-fa237e162d96.html
  9. Holy cow you are right.. .what seems like a fun idea turns into something that you have nightmares about
  10. hahahahaha......you got that right brother, geez!!!!!
  11. Yeah those are nice looking ....I have bought your jigs Mike and they are definitely quality for sure
  12. More jigheads into the oven How does our finesse jig look with one of our extremely realistic trailers??? We even made a craw to match the Long Pincher craws that crawl around in the White River chain of lakes.....you guys are gonna freak!!!!
  13. Hey man please come by even if it is a little late........seriously show up, it will be worth your while as I plan on taking care of any OAF member that shows up to this meeting in support of the MSA and our company :).....please try to come by and say hi and I will make it worth your trouble
  14. Custom made KILLER finesse jigs...made right here in St.Clair Missouri....spawned on the banks of the Meramec river Paul's jig is a killer for sure....my hands hurt from powder coating these bad boys....my hands are old
  15. DANG!!!!!! that's as good as it gets man.....18.45 is nuts!!!..... I thought Aaron and I did good with 17.53 for 5 Smallies..... That is awesome Brian
  16. Golf is one of my few conquered addictions from the past. I'm not sure how much I spent on ProV's in the 90's????.....it's a bad deal. Almost ruined me. I used to be able to back up a ProV pretty dang well...Drive for show and put for dough
  17. Agreed on all counts Al......lowering the length in a management area from 18 to 15 seems like they are catering to people who want to keep a bass to fillet. The Current river thing is disgraceful and shows that the MDC will bow down and cater to a special interest group. IMO what they did to the Big River should have been done to every stream in the state other than leaving the length limit at 18 instead of lowering it to 15 but, that is just the opinion of a washed up river freak who has been paddling every stream, creek and ditch I can get my old but into.......the access thing is very scary Al......also I hope you and Mary have a wonderful Christmas and relish in the fact that she faced off against Cancer and won Have a Merry Christmas Al
  18. I know sorry....and I am lucky as what I get to spend. I am very impressed with that Diawa....it has taken some abuse as I wade and fish out of boats and tend to put some serious beat downs on my epuipment...great reels
  19. I just bought one of these and abused the piss out of it during the fall until now and I can honestly say they seem to be Bad A.....I would recommend to anyone and this is coming from a tacklewhore who buys mostly expensive stuff. http://www.daiwa.com/us/contents/reels/procyon/index.html The Procyon EX 2500 has impressed me bigtime!!!!! This is where I bought mine and it was well worth what I paid for it.....trust me this is a tough spinning reel http://www.ebay.com/itm/Daiwa-Procyon-EX-6-0-1-Spinning-Fishing-Reel-PREX2500SH-/301792551111?hash=item46443ce0c7:g:~4wAAOSwYHxWPTFj yeah it's over 100$ just barely but, It is leaps and bounds more rugged than my Pfleuger Presidents I ended up giving away
  20. Agreed 100%.....Bo is a wealth of info for sure. He is probably busier than a one legged man in an posterior kicking contest with his company right now.
  21. GREAT NEWS!!!!......my wife is a cancer survivor and she has come thru as an extremely strong person after the fact. She says what's on her mind in front of everyone and anyone.....Life is ever so precious and our time in this form is limited. Have a good Holidays and continued success nailing those Illinois smallies
  22. Tim yer the man!!!....thanks for keeping us abreast of the sales at DD
  23. Very nice....bummer on the Big one but. I always love seeing a big one charging in on a bait you are retrieving. They are tough if they see the boat. Cool report and kudos on getting out I'm still putting up Christmas decorations and chopping wood
  24. Hahahaha Al, Aaron is an absolute machine when it comes to being productive, he's like the energizer bunny and I couldn't be more proud of him. I will say it's tough to stay the course as our baits are all individually made by hand with a very personal touch. We decided as a group to try to keep it that way but, I must admit it is not the fastest way to produce baits. We want everyone to know we care about these baits and truly want the fisherman who possibly buy them to know we put our hearts and souls into the manufacturing process. This personal touch and our location of manufacturing, on the Meramec River, literally allows us to be able to constantly tweak and test our baits on a moments whim. We probably won't be one of the fastest bait companies at producing baits but, we could possibly be one of the most organic and personal companies you could ever buy a bait from....all made in St.Clair Missouri on the banks of the Meramec with the collective fishing IQ of Four of the biggest fishing freaks I know.
  25. first.....the fish just aren't as big up there on average......gigging of bass is rampant up there, catch and keep.....Second you me and Aaron need to go and show you the way of the Craw brother
