My life is filled with Id10t errors. I once thought they were only related to technology, however the older I get the more I realize they are everywhere. For instance I had no idea that you should not play with your lighter at a gas station. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/world/darwin-award-contender-man-pumping-gas-plays-lighter-starts-huge-blaze-video-article-1.1102428#ooid=l1M2s4NTomJ0Qbr39E9glnJe8sPyQJvj Id10t error for sure. I know thats what the fella who put the fire out had to be thinking Id10t Id10t Id10t.

Just got this message back from the Riley's. Hi JR, We are above water here and surviving another high water spring. Nothing reached the cabins or our home. We are used to the amount they let loose from the dam and are very thankful we didn't recieve any rains gathering on the Buffalo at the same time. It could have been catastrophic! Thanks for checking on us! The Riley's Miles, Michelle and the herd

Trespassing In Mo Creeks And Rivers

Then again maybe not. Part of being an American in my humble opinion is wanting every person in the world to be afforded the freedoms and rights I enjoy. I just don't believe any person has no right to due process every person has that right. It is what makes this country different from the rest. This person committed a crime and was convicted by the laws of this nation. He will now pay the price for those crimes. The folks who were hiking and crossed into Iran are the perfect example. They deserve due process but that is not the way in Iran. So they sit in prison for crossing an invisible line. I suppose they deserve it if they were not smart enough to know better. (sarcasm fully intended) I am one of those who thinks opportunity should exist for everyone. I was lucky enough to be born in this nation. I will never take that for granted. I have no idea what its like to be from another place that does not afford me the opportunity I have in this country. For me that is what our forefathers had figured out. This nation was built by rejects, religious lunatics, and opportunist or at least that what they were called by their country men who said farewell get out of our country. Turns out those rejects, lunatics and opportunist found a way to coexist and create the basis for a super power. Today many folks in this country seem to think or take what we have for granted. They make everything about themselves and their views and perceptions. I don"t understand how or why anyone would want to take opportunity away from anyone. If someone carries their part of the load then lets get the job done. The best employees I have had are the ones who have gone on to other endevors. The ones who took the risk when the opportunity arose to move up and forward. I cant be mad at them because that is exactly what I did to get to where I am. I wish they were still around my life would be a lot easier. If this nation were as backward as Mexico and Canada was like the US you can bet I would be trying to figure out how to get there to better my life. -

US Army's M9 Beretta carries about 12 rounds that for some is about the best judge out there and many folks think a 357 magnum with six rounds is all anyone needs to carry. I happen to agree with you. -
That's one way to remove a stump. By the way where exactly would the high watermark be?

What happened at Albert Pike is nothing like what is going on with these cells. (not to belittle these cells) The problem at Albert Pike & (Oklahoma City a few days before) were the cells stopped dead when they stopped being pushed by the jetsream. The Albert Pike cell literally stopped over the area and it rained for 3-4 hours in one spot not including the rain in the hours before and after when the cell was moving. Take a look at the Doppler images from this report. Albert Pike Report These cells are moving and most of them quickly. They are producing a lot of rain and filling the drainages but atleast the cells are moving on. Albert Pike was a strange maybe once in a lifetime situation as was the flooding in OKC at the time. I hope to never see it happen again. I am not trying make light of what anyone else is dealing with at this point. We have several more days of unpredictable weather. I hope everyone is safe and everyone's property is ok. btw a new gauge has been installed at Albert Pike Albert Pike Gauge.

I have spent many weeks trying to train the otters & coons to feel the vibration of dial tone. They have been taught to distract the operator at the dams just before the phone rings. Its amazing that is is working. I thought it was a futile experiment but hey I may have something here. This is the 1st confirmation that it appears to be working. I figured if they hacked off enough trout guys then upsetting the whiitewater rafting and kayaking group would be a cinch. Why would I do such a thing. Well I m not sure. I was bitten by a Smallie when while trying to remove a tube and my life has not been the same since. Soon after that bite I started to dream about Canoes (no KAYAKS) and Spinning Rods ( no FLYRODS). I am still trying to make since of it all and therapy is a few warm days away. By the way just to be clear it was not me who taught the mice to chew through the line going to the answering machine.

How can that be. The What is Nymphing? thread could have taken on a life of its own. It stayed true to the topic. Proud I was expecting a few zingers when I read it. Not one so I was a little Disappointed. I'm not sure what that says about me.

I doubt it was on purpose. I don't think they put a whole lot of thought into it. Lewis and Clark is a far cry from being a Fishing related outfitter. They are a great store but their focus is on other outdoor endeavors and brand name clothing to the masses. Nothing wrong with that IMHO. I think the site was picked because they are a Jackson Kayak retailer. Half a mile down the road is Southtown Sporting goods. They are the fishing & Hunting Folks. I wish there were a Jackson Dealer in Harrison. That would have been a great tourney launch site. It would have covered alot more of what many of us river fish. This is the 1st time for the tour to be here maybe we can explain it to Drew for next year. OH yea PLEASE SPELL FAYETTEVILLE CORRECTLY:blush: ON THE MAP

The Reel is up now. Wright & McGill Co. Dragon Fly Large Arbor Fly Reel $99.00 Steep and cheap is a one deal at a time site. Items stay up for 30 min or until they sell out in most cases. An item will run several times in a day. It can be frustrating when it gets posted on a message board because by the time someone looks at it the item changes. I use it all the time and they have great deals. If you spend your day in front of the internets box they have an alert that runs in the tray of your browser when an item changes. They are an outlet for Backcountry.com. They do everything from camping gear to clothing. Most of the time items are atleast 50% off retail and as much as 90%. They have been running a lot of Cloudviel and Wright Mcgill items lately. Clean Snipe will show the last 8 items that were listed. It sells the same things atleast 40% below retail as a second chance so to speak. Keep in mind if you see and item it will probably come back up on SAC later in the day.

This thread seems to answer that question as FLOWING WATERS ONLY (unless they have a lake division) which apparently has happened at a few tourney stops. FLOWING WATERS

In Reference To Many Of The Conservation Topics
id10t replied to EddieRay's topic in General Angling Discussion
Why does it always have to turn personal. Why do I always get blamed? I like this forum because it is not boring. It is humorous to me, It challenges my brain. I think what happens on message boards are the words become just that words. They get taken way to literally. If we could see these comments in a face to face conversation they would not be taken by some as an argument or an attack. It is hard to see the smirk on someones face when they post. I suppose its also hard to see the steam coming out of someones ears when they post as well. Words without expressions make the internet message boards a free for all. I have just gotten to where I don't take it so seriously. I cant say there is anyone here I would not go fishing with. (except those snobby trout guys) A few weeks ago I posted the pics of my Legend 15 lacing. I got mixed reviews and overall feed back. I could have taken much of what was said negatively and gotten up in arms and mad. What I found is folks here have ideas and share them. By the end of the thread folks understood what I did and why. Folks got to share what they would do and why. All and all a good thing. I posted the same info on another site and got no feedback except how cool it was etc. Not that that is a bad thing, but it just shows the passion that this group has. I think passion and technical is a great way to describe this group and I like it. I would not change a thing. -
I still have yet to get it on the water. I could definitely see folks getting in trouble if they don't pay attention. My intentions for it are limited in use. Summer, low water conditions. It drafts so little water dragging will be much easier. Standing only in pools. I also think my wife will like it as a lounging device in the shallows near camp. Her lounger fits on top perfectly. She also wants to be up and away from the snakes or so she says.

Plastic is legal. Its the no glass on rivers rule that makes the mason jars illegal.

Lets just keep the technical information here. No need for this kind of news to get out. All wives should believe and continue to believe we all have Ugly Stiks. They should believe that they can not be broken so why even try. My wife thinks my Canoes & Kayaks will not sink just because she has only see pictures of swamped boats is no reason to spill the beans on a technicality. My GPS will always get me home technically you have know how to operate the GPS for that to happen. When that 3lb Smallie started stripping line and my reel was whining she thought I needed a new one. Who was I to argue. No point in giving up fishing days on technicality's IMHO.
