  2. Wow. Very cool to see this. Thanks for sharing. Tom Ciolino
  3. Yes, I have that recipe, but it's not Keeney's sculpin. Thank you, Tom
  4. Anyone have a recipe to tie Keeney's Taneycomo Sculpin with the lead dumbbell eyes? Thank you Tom Ciolino
  5. WOW that's awesome!!! So did you keep the fish?
  6. Awesome! Can't wait to get my hands on some of the new 1/32 ounce jigs I'm when down at your place in November. Time to relabel my jig boxes. 😀 Tom Ciolino
  7. My son caught this baby trout just below Fall Creek on Sunday; pretty cool! I wonder how common this is on Taneycomo. Hopefully he won't be Brown Trout food and grow to be an adult. Tom Ciolino
  8. Thank you for the update Phil; I'll be at your place this weekend! Looking at the DO levels on the USACE app, with no water generation the DO levels are below 2. I thought they were to maintain levels above 4, or is it just an average, or do they use DO levels sampled at other parts of the lake that determine compliance with proper DO levels? Thank you.
  9. Is this it? Looks like Fulling Mills used to sell it.; but I couldn't find it on their website. Hot Rib Hares Ear Jig Nymph from Fulling Mill Hook: Fulling Mill Jig Force 5045 S12 Bead: Fulling Mill Slotted Tungsten Bead 3.8mm Thread: Brown UTC 70 Tail: Coq De Leon Rib: Glo Brite No4 Shellback: Mirage Tinsel Body: Hares Ear Hackle: Brown Partridge Thorax: Peacock Glister
  10. Bring a hoe and dig out a wide channel at rebar.
  11. I'll be down at Taneycomo in a couple weeks. Looking at the USACE app, DO levels vary from 0.3 to 6.3 due to generation and injected O2. I assume these levels are near the dam. I'm wondering how the DO levels are further down the lake such as at The Narrows, Fall Creek, Monkey Island? Anyone seeing signs of fish stress or kill off? Thanks, Tom
  12. I fish from the dam down to Lilley's where I stay. Using Lilley's jigs (various olives, white, black), Signature Series Jerkbaits, and drift with eggs, scuds, and San Juan Worms. I'll be back down in November. Looks like I need to get some of Lilley's new micro jigs, mop/mega worms, and a better pair of polarized sunglasses. Thanks for the help!
  13. Wow nice catch. If I may ask, what were using to catch 25 fish a day, I catch about half that after fishing for 5 days fishing from a boat..
  14. You will be fine from Fall Creek down even if water is off. Generation site: https://www.swl-wc.usace.army.mil/pages/data/tabular/htm/tabrock.htm Above Fall Creek read this thread:
  15. Yes. This happens regularly in my experience. It usually comes back online within a few hours or next day.
  16. Since my wife said I can't be gone for Thanksgiving, I will going down from the Friday before through the Wednesday before Thanksgiving; so hopefully it won't be as busy!
  17. I've booked a unit and boat at Lilley's for the week of Thanksgiving; but have never fished Taney that time of year. I'm concerned about low DO levels. Is there a way to know when Table Rock has turned over? Also any particular fishing techniques/artificial baits good for that time of year? I fly fish, spin fish with jigs, jerk baits, and drift scuds, eggs, etc.... Thank you! Tom Ciolino
  18. The Lilley name carries a lot of respect. Whatever you choose, include it.
  19. See this thread : How To Boat To Dam
  20. Does anyone know the recipes for the Wotton midges below? Thanks, Tom.
