The last time I remember that happening was mid 90's when Mr. Coolness, Bill Clinton AGREED to downsize Welfare. And you may want to recalculate the TAX/FEE amount for not purchasing healthcare. These parties have helped erode this country. If your young you have no idea what has been lost over the last number of years. I almost think Freedom...isn't freedom anymore, it is a mirage. Anymore government intrusion into my life is NOT acceptable. The weak will always want the government to run their lives....lazy is lazy.

A lot of nice fish will hold up near the dam. Caught my biggest walleyes and White bass just off the coffer dam. Depth varies as you get closer to the spillway.

I don't think there are any dams between Rockford Beach and the Meramec. Unsure of the river miles though.

Got a Bass fishing question (It is becoming contagious). Was planning a yearly trip w/my dad to Stockton for the week of the 23rd. We normally stay for 10-14 days. But with this current weather pattern hanging these high temps, I don't think we're gonna wanna come down. So does anyone have an opinion on how the Bass fishing in late October-early November is? Used to come down late fall but that was a decade ago. Thanks a lot.

Seems like all the bass fisherman have passed away or times have changed for those guys. I find it interesting too that there is barely any talk about the bass fishing anymore, unless it is the Whites. This is a good bass lake, yet in the last year, basically nobody wants to discuss it much. I guess it has become boring for some out there. The Crappie fishing runs the talk on this lake.
