Thanks for the advice all. I wasn't able to make it down, got sick... where you don't want to be to far from a restroom. I think it was minor food poising. Anyway... I had a nice mini vacation at home. I upgraded a telescope and bought a new one so not all was lost in STL area.

To me there is two Bennett springs. The first hour or two depending on how many folks are there, stupid fish season. Then the rest of the day. Fishing can be just as difficult in the park as anywhere else from that point forward. Wait until no one is on the catch and release section, and go give it a try.

Try bluegill site fishing during the full moon in May. Lots of fun.

Hey all... I'm taking a vacation day on Thursday. I thought about the parks, but they may be a bit crazy. If anyone wants to meet up and fish the St. James or Rolla area... let me know. I'm thinking about Little Piney and Suicide Hill. We can try out some of these flies.

Yea... it is just easier sometimes to get the same for everyone. I think I was short like seven dollars. There were like $25 worth of flies if I bought those separately. It was worth it to me. Streamer swaps the boxes work well. Thanks though.

Believe it or not... the hardest part of a fly swap is handing out the flies. Seems simple but believe me it is very easy to mess them up. So if you don't get at least one of everything, I'm not touching mine until I hear back from everyone, and I'll send it. Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad this motivated some of you to hit the bench. Thank you much for the extra swap master flies that some of you sent. We did have extras, I tried to hand them out to people that sent more flies then they committed too. SeeGar... LOL, really you make me put on the fly tags. Your fingers better be fatter then my stubs. I hope to have them all NLT Wednesday.
