  1. Let me add... you can also put return postage on your return package. Please remember that the return package may or may not weigh a little more than the one you send it... specially if you have small flies.
  2. That sounds like an interesting approach... might have to try that.
  3. Hey gents... please send them to: Mike Donaldson 9065 James Court New Baden IL 62265 Include: a return package and $5 or $8
  4. Man... I wish I was a little closer. Awesome offer though.
  5. Can't go wrong with a couple of hare's ears.
  6. Thanks. Same to all the others.
  7. I thought I would share a pic of my new fishing buddy... Ozzie (go Cards). He should be around 10 pounds when fully grown and will fit in a tent or canoe just fine. He is one of those "designer dogs"... half Maltese and half Poodle. Supposed to be shed free and smart. So far he is pretty smart for a 10 week old.
  8. Hey Guys... Closing in on the due date. Let's look to ship on 1 Dec. Please don't ship to me over Thanksgiving.
  9. Awesome loved it. Great editing.
  10. You know what... I think you all are right. Sucks, but I think you're right.
  11. Thank you Lilley. I assume those meeting are in the Columbia area somewhere.
  12. Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
  13. A member here sent me a PM with an email on it from a DNC POC for Blue Springs Creek. She went on to say that there wasn't much the state could do to improve habitat there because they would have to remove trees to make improvements...and...those improvements are wiped out during flash floods. The point was they made a decision not to kill 10 to 20 year old trees (that keep the creek cold) to install something that might make it a couple of years. It sucks, but I agree with that logic. However, there has to be something that I, we, OAF, TU, etc can do. Surely there has to be some sort of short term, inexpensive projects the can be done every six to eighteen months. Yes the maintenance "bill" sucks, but if we can only improve three or four unused holes or runs, I think it could really improve the fishing. Anyway... just venting, but please add if you have any thoughts.
  14. Cool video. I subscribed to your page. Can't wait to see more.
  15. I LOVE that last pic of the dog and the flyrod. Hey PHIL... that pick deserves some airtime on your web page.
  16. I haven't seen that survey. Know where it is at?
  17. Man Phil... I think you need a vacation to recover from your vacation. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Nice report.
  19. Holy track Batman. That is so cool.
  20. Cute dog. Just curious... is anyone missing on the lake?
  21. Is that a "gut fly" or is it suppose to resemble something else?
  22. Well... I finally made it back home to Blue Springs Creek. I parked at the middle spot below the beaver dam and went downstream passed the Blue Springs Ranch cut in. I must of caught 15 to 20 creek chubs most of them were the kind with the red tails. I didn't catch any trout. Normally, it would not concern me... not catching any trout. However, I am. This isn't the scientific method by any means, but every little hole where there should have been a Blue Springs special, they were packed with these chubs. I couldn't get a decent drift without them hammering my flies. More scary is multiple chubs would be sitting where the "alfa" should have been. I wonder if the beaver dam is keeping fish from moving downstream after low water. It might be time for the conservation department to due another sampling. I think it has been a while. I was happy to see my nemesis trout still in the best hole in the water. Try as I might, and I did try. I just can't seem to get a decent drift in that section of water. Between no back casting space, the tree hanging in the water, and that darn eddie pulling fly line the wrong direction, I just can't figure out how to attack those fish. In the end, same story, one step to far and they spooked for cover. Tight Lines. MIC
  23. Great.. You need to tie up ten bluegill flies. Somewhere around the 15th of Nov, I'll send shipping instructions. Mail them and wait for the other flies to return. Please confirm you are in?
