I dont get in on these threads but i cant resist this one. I don't care if it's a good gun for defense or hogs or whatever. If you want one get one. I can't stand the rationalizations that go on when there are gun debates. If you don't want guns move to some place where they are not allowed. Go to a gun free zone like a movie theater or college campus. I don't think that you can argue that those are the only places that someone can go in and shoot until they run out of ammo. As for me and mine I say the more guns the better.
Not as many people would own an ar if there wasn't a ban on them. Anytime there is a ban on something we think we have to have more. Look what prohibition did for alcohol.
We camped this week at roaring river. Kids fished power bait and did well with orange and white. The wife and I did well with beetles and olive wooly buggers. She caught a bunch in zone 2 on globalls. Lots of fish in the river and everyone seemed to be catching fish.
I was on the spring today around noon for about an hour. Caught one catfish on a white slider. No one caught anything else. We saw only 2 boats. Whites not in our hole yet so we left.
Last year was my worst garden in years. Wet spring made me plant late, and my young plants fried in the heat. I gave up after i harvested my corn. I hardly got any tomatoes and very little okra. I did however get a bumper crop of beets. I will not be planting any beets this year.
