  1. Seems like plenty of bass are being caught lately... Both green and with stripes.
  2. Awesome. I love the play-by-play description as well!!
  3. Wow!!!!! Nice!!!
  4. Quantity vs. Quality. I'd trade a lot of days of spotted bass limits for the occasional fight with a 30+ lb fish. I know lots of ponds I can go catch little 4-lb bass on.
  5. This is unbelievable and hilarious at the same time. Isn't the Corps of Engineers stocking stripers in Table Rock by opening the flood gates multiple times in the spring? Are black bass in Table Rock hurting the striper fishery there by competing for forage?
  6. Nice fish!
  7. I can tell you that Prairie Creek and Avoca are full of shad. That's about it.
  8. Except for 42" striper you can catch from the bank on topwater... Whaaaa??? Ha! That being said, all the stars must align for this to happen.
  9. No need for flags if you're paying attention. I use the yellow birds but they will melt and deform if you leave them in the heat.
  10. I always look for them in the backs of coves this time of year.... Way shallower than you would think. 5ft or so. At sunset in coves full of shad.
  11. whaaaa? My 8 AM presentation will be... A topwater.
  12. True that. Drive to Table Rock or Grand if you don't want to have to fuss with using your drag!!
  13. Hilarious! You mean Spike... He's Snoopy's brother.
  14. Yesssir! Time to start fishing again!
  15. Ha! You're not the only one!
  16. I believe I read that dye tests have shown that water from Crooked Creek re-emerges at Big Spring in Cotter (which interestingly is on the other side of the White River.)
  17. Wow! Looks awesome!!!
  18. Man, at first I misread this thread title as "Rising Stripers."
  19. 3rd time this year, right?
  20. Many times on the White above and below the lake and on the Buffalo but never once on Beaver.
  21. Great... There goes the bass fishing.
  22. J-Doc, your metaphors are always entertaining and spot-on.
  23. I bet I could pull those signs down... With a spinnerbait... From about 99 feet away.
  24. You'd be surprised how easy it is to clean and rebuild a carb. Look online for a rebuild kit(s) for your particular motor and order it. You'll probably even find a step-by-step instruction write-up with photos. I'd be happy to help you do it if you want to bring the boat by my house one of these rainy weekend days. Shoot me a PM if you want.
