  1. I agree. I fish a few opens and also joined a bass club. Definitely best to release quickly. For the record, I am totally on board with bass tournament reforming how they score tournaments. I think the kayak tournament guys are onto a good thing with the way they score their tournaments.
  2. I am a pretty big fan of using G-Juice. I have had fantastic result since I’ve started using it. Also, I don’t have to wonder if it is all going to get dissolved.
  3. I’ve heard good things about... I think it is called “Flying Feathers”. Somewhere near Nevada I think.
  4. I have noticed that I can’t buy it anywhere. It does look like exactly what I’m looking for in a spoon (something that will shoot back under the dock as it sinks). Would you mind sharing with me what kind of spoon you are using and how you rig it? I am a complete noob with zero spoon fishing experience.
  5. I was up your way Saturday morning. My brother came to visit and I was trying to get him on some fish and hoping for some topwater action. We couldn’t buy a topwater bite. I did manage a couple pretty decent fish way up there. One with a Craw and one on the worm I showed you. Both decent fish and all the shorts were released quickly and unharmed, ready to be caught and released again 😁.
  6. It wouldn’t surprise me. I know he really likes to fish them. His new River2sea signature spoon looks like a pretty decent one. Anyone try it yet? Opinions?
  7. How is it as a nighttime bait? Any thoughts on that from anyone? What are the favorable conditions for fishing this method? Sunny day?
  8. Cables and brush piles are my two biggest worries. I never hear about anyone up here fishing them, but I hear about guys doing it on table rock all the time.
  9. I’m thinking that I can try shooting them into the deep condo docks. Seems like it could be a good way to cover a decent amount of water and hit more of a big dock in less time.
  10. I’ve never fish a flutter spoon and never really had much desire, but lately I’ve been getting more curious about it. I have a few questions for you spooning experts. 1.Does it it need to be clear, or do you still find success with some color in the water? LOZ is not typically as clear as the Rock. 2. Is this a technique that works in the colder months or is it pretty much a summer time deal? 3. I know there are quite a few topics that can probably answer my other questions that I have right now. So, I’ll get to searching and reading. Thanks
  11. Worth the drive then, I suppose. Still, one heck of a rough ride.
  12. I have recently started covering up better with the face shield and the huk shirt, etc. I can tell a definitive difference in how much more comfortable I am on a hot sunny day, and how much better I feel at the end of the day too. That plus staying hydrated. I drink Gatorade and wash it down with water. Water is important. Don’t just drink Gatorade or you will get dehydrated.
  13. This tournament is quickly approaching. If you haven’t found your partner yet, better get on it. I was out last night and the fishing is on fire right now!

  15. Driving around on LOZ yesterday I was more aware and noticed these big inflatables all over the place.
  16. 🤔🤔🤔
  17. I heard he allowed 3 hours for the return trip and was planning to hit some spots on the way back, but he didn’t have time to stop. I bet that was a rough ride.
  18. I can’t imagine that if you ordered anything from that site getting anything more than a stolen identity. I certainly can’t imag that you would get anything remotely like what you are expecting at that price.
  19. Yeah, me too. Lol
  20. I was kinda excited to see David Fritts take one, but he just couldn’t find them yesterday.
  21. My best dropped steadily from day 1. I had lee. He ended in spot 11.
  22. There is no way that we aren’t more looking at a scam website. I’m worried about even going to their website.
  23. Awesome! I don’t fish walleye very much, but I’d like to sometimes. I don’t really want to invest in a dedicated walleye setup. These snap weights sound like the deal!
  24. To add to Randy Moore’s questions, I am not familiar with the snap weights you referred to. What is that, and how does it work? It sounds like you hook weights onto your flicker shads???
