Heey lonkm, noticed you are from taneyville. Deer hunted hercules for years with my bros. LOVE that country and could not wait to go each year. Was like hunting the way it should be. Camped for8 to 10 days,cooked over camp fire,lots of blckberry brandy around campfire,even fell in campfire. GREAT FUN.... Deer hunting was fun, saw VERY few people in the woods. Just a few locals on horseback. Some very nice, some not so nice. Awesome country along with lots of memories of great deer hunting. Article on Schoolcraft coming through there. good stuff...

Stockton lake fisherman,dont think for a second that your lake is not next in line for the major traffic and giant wake boats!!!!! These marinas are adding on for a reason. One of them is their own personal gain. They are not concerned if the lake turns into a s#$t hole full of drunk boaters. Hell, they sell booze right next to the gas pump. Enjoy yor lake while you can. Mark my words!!!!!!

Its not the walleye anglers,meathead. Its the bass anglers who rip these fish off the lake bottom and launch them through the air and hammer them on the deck of their boat only to rip the lure out of their face. Get it!!! I think they are called "tournament anglers".

Spent my first birthday on T R many years ago camping with my family at joe bald then hwy 13. Since, grew up fishing with my brothers and a close friend on the rock. Watched TR change over 50 years of my life.Now,I have a son who I would love for him to experience the wonderful days and nights fishing on once was the nicest lakes in the midwest. I have made up my mind years ago that TR would not be this place just for the reason you are talking about.Like Champ said "money" is what its all about. I have moved to another mo. lake for now.NO CONDOS,NO BARS ,NO GIANT BOATS,NO BULLCRAP. Just sunrises,water,fish,fresh air, and the memories of DAYS GONE BY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
