Any thoughts on why the lake is so murky still?
10 weeks since the flood and the water up towards the dam still has less than a foot of visibility.
Thanks
I did very good bass fishing on Sat both numbers and quality mostly on a spinnerbait some on a jig. Most fish came within 5 feet of the shore. Also landed a couple Pomme Bonus muskies both over 30". Fun day.
Went out Sunday from 6:30 - 11 and I did not see a single boat, I know a lot of guys were in deer stands, but it was really weird. I figured the bite would be better with the overcast, but not so.
Guys,
I am a bass guy who may be "forced" to fish for crappie on sat and am not sure where to start. Jigs, minnow, both??? Colors? Shallow, Deep, are they on the banks yet?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Chris
I will be at Norfork for the first time ever this weekend and am curious what to expect. I plan on bass fishing, any help anyone could provide would be much appreciated.
Thanks
chris
C'mon Jerry, if I'm going to get out Saturday I need all the help I can get... I believe had you Carolina rigged that Brush Hawg you may have added a kicker to bump you up to 26 lbs, maybe tonight. Surprised to hear the spook bite is on this early.
smbasser, That does suck, sorry to hear it. Did you stay mostly by the dam? Throw mostly jerkbaits?
I would have expected pretty good results yesterday.
