Bennett sucks. Might as well put up a golf course within the park boundary. Would not take much effort to add a golf course. Looks like one already.

Take a boat & float. Fish, take pics of stuff, have fun. That's actually an old road JD. There is an old concrete bunker that it serviced. Bunker is still there.

Easy enough to do fresh breading. If not it's Gortons in the freezer case. Tasteless but the kids eat it.

Yes it appears that they were non-compliant and delinquent with payment. The service will always provide a wage & income and transcripts of past filings if you know to ask. Usually right away after your initial waste of time on the phone. They only phone, fax , or snail mail, so do not answer any email from the IRS.

It usually takes a ton of mismanagement before a biz gets stuck in a pickle like that. Hope the employees can find other work soon. No sympathy for those that brought on a hard time for other folks. No big deal to get a balance due from the IRS. Available online with approved access, bought an hour if you call with your papers in order. Use the 30 on hold to get that done.

Thinking they did not pay the payroll taxes that they withheld from their employees pay checks. The penalties are high for that. Easy way to lose your business.

Friend found a lost dog hanging around their cabin at Sappington Bridge this weekend. Lab mix with an orange collar. No tags, no chip. Holler if you can help re-unite it with its owner.

The Piney & Gasconade are nice. Current. 11pt, Jacks, & Buffalo are better in terms of scenery. NFOW & Bryant Creek are nice too. Have not floated the James, Elk, Big Sugar or Spring in the Southwest corner of Missouri. I'm sure it's good to, but not familiar with it. As Joe pointed out..Your time is valuable. Look close to home first so you can max your river time. Over a 2hr drive one way.....Day trippable, but prefer overnight.4-5 hour drive warrants a 3 night stay .

There is lots of free info on pond management...Crappie & Shad usually aren't the best things to stock in a small pond, and ponds do need harvest. Fathead minnows, bluegill, bass, and catfish is usually the recommended program. Manage for big bluegill or bass..Your choice. Your pond might be good with something completely different though. Buddy of mine used to have two spring fed ponds full of trout near Meramec State Park...some nice crappie in there too.

They ate the heck out of road kill colored case Jack's Worms and Ned's when where down there a couple months ago. Both fished on an 1/8 oz head with a single wire weed guard. Not much cover on that river so fish everywhere with the right depth and current speed. Caught plenty off of clean gravel bottoms that appeared to have no cover to hold a fish.

Important? Can't give it that. Scenery isn't much on that stretch and the fishing(trout or bass) is middling at best. Spring down to dry fork needs protection in the winter. Smallies & trout stack up there. Poaching Giggers eat well.

Round Spring down to Arkansas is best for bass. Your last trip was on trout water.

The KVD sexy dawg jr offers great bang for the buck. Great action & decent hooks. If you fish spin tackle, try the Cultiva zip n Ziggy. Replace the hooks on Ziggy. KVD short shanks work well. The Gunfish 95 is the one I use most often, but it pays to have a couple different models that behave differently.
