We started making them yesterday ! We will build inventory for several weeks though.

There's public ramps all over the place if u put in at robertsville I recommend going up. Same for sand ford. 30 bridge safe in any direction. Red horse up or down.

You are absolutely correct Al. Brian has fished this hole and caught some big ones there. I've been consistently catching big fish in this winter hole for 25 years. It hasn't changed a bit.

If I was limited to a kayak at rte 66 park, I would paddle upstream 2 miles to the first riffle( not really a riffle but it's the first shallow gravel hump up there) then I would fish the deep dead log side I can't catch a fish on the boulder side and I have fished it 10 times I would throw a jerkbait downsized as aforementioned if you get bit start throwing hidef craws. They will be available anyday now. And they work They did today. ?

I have struggled last few weeks. I haven't got on the fish when they are biting very well. I have seen some truly giant bass of both species though. The clear water made for some good scouting.

My daughter Macey received a full liver transplant 8 years ago. I was slated to donate a lobe off of my liver but within a week she had a perfect match come to us from a unfortunate tragedy of a 9 year old boy. We have kept in contact with his family and I'm sure it helps them to know what a gift he gave to us God Bless and Merry Christmas

Still a lot of ice I'm hoping for warm big rain on Christmas Day Need a 3 to 5' rise to get the fish all in their winter holes and comfy for the winter. So I can catch em.

Most people I see fish the craw for first time make the same mistake and I simply tell them ( quit reeling it in. It's not a crank bait. It's a live craw).

Winter smallmouth fishing! They are in the winter holes but not exactly where they sit on a cold winter day a good rain right now would ruin the gigging for a week or so and maybe give smallies more time to get where they need to be. Can't wait. 3 deer dead- time to fish.

Parker, I am sure that was mine. If I'm on a hot spot I will break em off instead of running the boat over the fish to get my jig back.
