Barges! It's a staging area for the lock so it was very turbulent. Did catch a trophy size wiper for the river. It was bursting with eggs Water was 59 degrees. -

Sounds phenomenal! I'm gonna hit the Mississippi in the morn and try for walleye whites hybrids. I'm hearing rumors and seeing pictures so I gotta go see for myself I know there is some good fish swimming up the meramec out of the Mississippi but the flow is too much for my liking. -

Above 30 bridge in stclair. The dredge is running at 30 bridge so it makes downstream from it muddy

I personally don't like how they curl back with their open mouths full of teeth I don't believe there is a confirmed death by lamprey but I consider them a threat to life and limb.

Thanks for posting those pics. I bet I've pulled 30 lampreys off in last week. Of course I release them unharmed
