19" was my biggest but lots of fish bit. What a day!!

Flow was fast but had to try some current breaks for post spawn sows and they were there. Tried everything but had to resort to the Mitch craw

That's funny, I asked Al all the same questions when they turned on for us. Al setting the hook with the fluke is a memorable sight I love it ! Surrounding myself with these river and tackle gurus has flipped a switch in me. I'm out of control. Somebody stop me.

It was a good day! Storm blew by and I am so crazy to figure this spawn out so I went back out and the bite was ridiculous. Nothing over 14" but in a hour in 3 different stops caught 12 fish or so.

Today was a short trip by most people's standards but what I consider a good day. These fish are tough right now but we stumbled on something Just enough to drive you mad for more.

You bet man. I went out yesterday and the topwater bite switch got flipped on. Going out today after church to see what's going on. I didn't catch big fish but they were going crazy on walk the dawg. Didn't mean to be rude to the guys fishing the opposite bank but I caught back to back fish right in front of em. Thought it might be one of you guys?

Your too kind Al. It was a very fun trip. You answered all 40 of my questions ! You are a encyclopedia of info on this beloved river I call home. Anytime you pass thru I'm usually game. What a day man. I missed several solid bites. At least you and Mitch caught every fish that bit you guys. Dang man I thought I was gonna take some time off but I'm going again tomorrow. I can't handle the agony of defeat.
