I always let people fish my properties but, I say no to the dogs. They can turn people on you fast. -
I was just down at Same place and I used a crappie pole with a swimming spoon on 4 lb test so I could cast it a country mile. I caught a ton of fish The cheap pepper spoons worked too. Bring a bunch of them. Wade out far then cast even farther. Burn just under the surface Oh my goodness it was fun.

Okay so I took several samples of the 1 to 2" fry and found nothing but shiners. Mostly the ones we call blue backs. Small ratltraps chrome killing em right now. No wonder.

There is no river gauge between Sullivan and eureka but according to my calculations by my house it is up 3 to 5 ". Mostly from injun crik and other local tribs that gushed for about 8 hours Should fall low again by weekend. Gonna be a tournament Sunday at 30 bridge Prolly just stay out of there way and hang deer stands. I'm about to go off the air for 4 months for bow season

One of my good friends owns one of those cabins. That riffle is a cake walk compared to what's around the next two bends!! I helped another disabled boat Sunday.

That wreck was a buddy of mine ( knucklehead) I sat below my ramp and watched 5 consecutive boats pile it up on a shoal. I didn't see u at the apple butter ball?

There is nice channels now on nearly every riffle. This weekend there was an amazing amount of boats. I ran from pacific to below times beach and from 30 bridge to meramec caverns It wasn't boring but it was uneventful.

After seeing those pictures it explains why the sudden dirty water on Monday Tuesday It's cleared up now I drove by a golf course one day years ago and looked over at my buddy and said , look at all them idiots chasing the ball around. My buddy says, who cares! They ain't fishing or hunting so that's more for us to kill and catch. I guess I'm saying to each his own. I just hope there wasn't any churches trying to have a old fashion river babtism when all that was going down the river. -

I go through that run at least ten times a week. It's a killer spot to fish but only at first light cause of traffic. It's actually 9 ft deep through that run of boulders but 3 inches on the turn.

There is so many opinions here that all kinda make sense but I don't know about the jet boat one. When I canoe fish I am hammering every little nook and cranny. I drove 12 miles yesterday and only fished 200 yards. The boat that just went by my house is undoubtably a fisherman and he never stopped in the 3 mile range that I can hear Cattle in the river? Where? I haven't seen one in 5 years. Just saying.
