Sorry to report that tonite(from 6PM to 8:30PM) I only caught one striper and 10 crappie.

They are still around pt 12, caught around 20 today.

I went by Monte Ne and Horseshoe Bend today to look at the boat ramps. It seems like the Monte Ne ramp is ok, the concrete does end a few feet in the water, but at least there's not a big drop where the concrete meets rocks. Did see a guy launched his boat without problem. The road going to Horsechoe Bend ramp is blocked off, so I guess that ramp is closed for now.

I want to thank Scott for saving my butt today at PC. Battery was dead as a door nail because I left the bilge pump on all afternoon. Caught a glance of Scott leaving the parking lot, called him right away, he came back waited for me as I was trying to get to the boat ramp by trolling motor, but It was taking forever since the trolling motor battery was pretty drained too and I was against the wind. He finally put his boat back in the water, towed me back to the boat ramp, and helped me get the boat on the trailer. Thanks again, Bro!!! Next time I'll be sure to bring jumper cable!!

It is indeed a drum. That goes to show how much I know about fishing or the fish I'm catching! I was wondering how come it does not have any teeth like the sheephead!!

While I was trolling around Beaver shore for walleye and crappie a couple days ago, I caught a fish that looks like a sheephead but without the strips like the saltwater ones. Have anyone caught anything like that before??

If that's the case, I will pick some up and give them a try!!

Went to Cabela today try to replace some reefrunners that I lost at Avoca couple days ago, they don't have them in stock. They do have their version of them, but not the real thing. The nice salesperson pointed me to the walleye section and told me I might find them there, all I see is small cranks and lots of spinners.

I was wondering if anyone is crazy enough to go out today, I'm glad you had a good day!!
