    Fished yesterday on main lake points. 14 with 7 being keepers. Senko,tube,grub. all keepers were smallies. All 6 to 10' deep. Could not catch a deep fish. Tried back of one bay and no good.

    Thanks for the well written explanation fishinwrench. Is it possible to check if the battery is being charged when the engine is running by checking the battery voltage? It appears my battery is not getting charged. When running live well and electronics all day the battery gets low. How do I check and see if it is getting charged. Thank you so much for your help you give on the site.

    Left Indian point area this am and the water temp in big Indian was 50 degree. Fished yesterday and caught seven with 3 keepers. All fish came off cr points in 10 to 18'. Grub and tube. Water visibility seems to be about 10 to 12'. Talked to another guy and he was doing good on shaky worm. No good on Rig or stickbait. Hope this helps.

    A friend of mine rinses and kneads his white bass filets in running water. Then kneads them in milk before battering and frying them. He too, cuts the red meat out. Says they are good. I have not tried it. ???

    I would recommend you check to make sure your min Kota will take 24 volts. It may be rated for 12 volt only.

    Has anyone had any trouble with oil fill cool hubs on their trailer? I had a failure and was wondering if it was a rarity. Was considering converting to grease. Comments please.
