  1. I was told that they are releasing an updated card probably within the next 30 day. It's supposed to have table rock on it. I just bought the tx/ok here ( http://just4electronics.com/index.php?main_page=index&manufacturers_id=20&sort=20a&page=7 ) for $90 shipped. That's the cheapest I've found. I paid Monday and it arrived today. I struggled over which card to buy but ultimately the features of the lakemaster vs. the 3d of the navionics won out. Also I kept hearing how much more accurate and detailed the lakemaster was. Hope this helps.
  2. Welcome! What part of the state did you land in?

    Big Blue

I wonder how much grease you'd use frying up that dude!?! Good for "Buzzard" though. I'm also glad to see him release it.
  5. One pair of needle nose, one pair of pliers, and three paper clips.
  6. Long morning so I made this to tease the guys. I might throw this thing at some slabs actually.
  7. I was told this morning about the anti religious billboards going up around Springfield. I pray to Jesus our God that these have no affect on the community especially the children. Our area used to be a whole lot more decent of a place to live. Now we have casinos, adult video stores and signs along the highway, and now these billboards. It makes me wonder what the world will be like for my two boys when they grow up. I found a link to a news article about the billboards. http://m.ky3.com/display/3762#/display/3763/story/0b7d37c557320512d6f01758181b6209

    Classic

I bet you're right. Honey creek will be pressured too. With the classic only being about 50 boats and it being February their should be plenty of water to go around. That should make it a more exciting classic vs. last year when they were all piled into one spot.
  9. This is great advice! Hydrotech are good folks to deal with. I bet you will find that it's your fuel pump diaphragm/diaphragms.
  10. I miiiiiight have some I'd sell. Please email me at fivebitescustomrods@yahoo.com

    Classic

That is definitely a concern but they do this pretty regularly. With the grda as strict as they are I bet everything goes smooth.

Won't it be cool though!?! I expect them to fully teach us a thing or two. A lot of people are predicting low weight and tough fishing but I believe it's gonna surprise us.

    Classic

Im looking forward to the 2013 classic! It will be interesting to see what patterns develop for the elites at that time of year. I pretty much never winter fish Grand.
  14. Lol yea but I've got to make that boat payment somehow. I get paid to play on my phone and run the machine for fun.
  15. I live in Carthage. I honestly believe I live in the best location in the world for fishing. I also believe I live here for a reason.
  16. Is the bridge still closed?
  17. They'll do whatever you need as far as I know. They replaced my fuel pump diaphragms, plugs, and bled my hydraulic steering. Here before to long I hope they will be installing a jackplate.
  18. The boat dealership part of hydro tec is out of business. Actually they sold it then it went out. The repair and performance shop is still open. This was my first time dealing with them. I was impressed. They're very helpful and willing to answer questions. They had my boat done quick too.
  19. Monday afternoon I had to drop my boat off at hydro tec and went past the new academy. The parking lot was full so I thought we were in luck and stopped by after dropping the boat off. I kinda felt like an idiot when I got into the parking lot and saw the huge banner with the opening date. I thought it was strange that it was closed Saturday on the way to bps but open Monday lol. I'm glad I didn't drive all the way from Carthage just to find that out!
  20. I know this is an older thread but I thought I throw a comment in. I've built several rods using micros from deep cranking to pitching. I've yet to find a negative for the user other than the icing up easier problem. I imagine if a guy used reel magic or something similar it would help. My only gripe personally is they are a little harder to wrap on the rod than typical single foot guide. They casting is great. I think it's somewhere around 10 of the cheapy micros weigh as much as a single Fuji titanium sic fly guide. Plus the cheapy micros are under $1 and a to sic guide is usually over $5. I have not built a spinning rod with them yet but hopefully will soon.
