  1. That's a pretty cool idea
  2. I like the MLF format but I think FLW and BASS should stay 5 bass limit. The multi day event eliminates the lucky big fish scenario. I'm glad MLF does it the way they do for a change. It'll never be what BASS is though. At this point it's more of a novelty but I enjoy it. The weight tracker thing is cool. The only real concern I have with it is more people hole sharing, uninvited lol. If you know what one guy is doing you could run in on his spot or another spot you know he would fish during the day rather than sticking with your own pattern. I'm more concerned with how they get the show to the viewer. Today on grand with Edwin Evers for example was really cool.
  3. I'm not interested but was curious what the length was
  4. Long run time at work for me.
  5. Actually it didn't?
  6. I don't know what down it is.
  7. So I guess that's a no.
  8. I'm guessing this was before gopro's
  9. Because I'd forget and throw myself off the front. They know my kind exist.
  10. I believe you tried but left out any and all substance. I wouldn't expect any better.
  11. You shouldn't have any problem getting full motion unless you cramm it against the back of the tray. The thing that can be an issue that I was talking about (and wrench too I assume) is when you pivot the rear of the pedal down to back up it can put your ankle in a bind sort of unless your pedal is far enough forward. My trolling motor needs timed/clocked so that the direction is straight when the pedal is flat. Even with new cables it's not that way. It wasn't noticeable until I got the tray because now I have to step forward more to pivot the pedal down. This all sounds like gibberish I'm sure but will make sense later. Remember you can't go to far forward or the cables will be bound some on the angled part of the interior of the tray.
  12. That sucks to hear. So humminbird will replace it free if it fries? I know you can't help it while fishing but I always tell people never ever never ever ever never tow with your graph on the boat. It's an added pain at the ramp but I'm a paranoid person with that stuff.
  13. Grand is 11' over today. Looking at the radar it's not done yet. A friends neighbor has a camping trailer at Grand. Grda said to move it as Grand could hit record elevation. Just a few weeks ago I was griping because they wouldn't let it get past 743 and now it's 753.2' lol
  14. Very cool show. To bad it got cut short.
  15. Trying to make a point?
  16. Wrench is right which is why I pointed out getting that pedal as forward as you can. Dock fishing has a whole lot of backing up in it. I wish my tray was just a tad longer for that reason. I really need to try and re-time my trolling motor too so I'm not pushing down as far to go backwards. I also considered shimming up the rear of the pedal some. Just some ideas.
  17. Tired of the Ned threads? Do better on something else.
  18. One thing I might suggest from personal experience is moving the pedal itself farther forward in the tray if possible. Your heel might catch the tray. This happens to me occasionally but I'm out of room to move mine.
  19. Lol man you didn't mess around!
  20. If he was wading and stepped on it I could see it nailing him twice before he got away. Especially if alcohol was involved.
  21. Man I wish they would archive this!!!
  22. I've been running birds for a few years now and have had zero moisture/condensation problems on my 700, 800, and 900 series units. I'm sure it happens obviously as the op has problems now but I can't remember another time Ive heard of the si units having a hard time with this. Im not saying the older ones didn't have that problem especially since Fish24/7 had a really bad time but the newer units don't seem to have that reputation.
  23. I'm just saying it's possible.
