  1. Tried to call you Rick.
  2. Totally agree. I will put my 50 in any lake I can and use the trolling motor. And been on lakes that are trolling motor where there is a storm brewing and started the big motor to get off safely.
  3. Granted it I have a bait caster set-up with 25Lb braid for frog fishing alone but didn't bring it thinking it was still to early for this spring fed lake.
  4. Have you tried the poppin pad crusher yet? Decent one already on it and had one bigger but it broke off in a cypress tree.
  5. Ty. It's an 18,000 btu unit. I've a smaller one that I use. Was given this one as a gift that will never be used because the other one will sweat me out. I never get cold. A lot of deer and duck hunters use em.
  6. I can buy the sonnys in the 45oz for $15 in the stl area. Not to many places have it though.
  7. Welcome. There's a few of us that live around there. I'm about 10 minutes away.

Awesome job! I have to work weekends now so I wasn't able to take out a niece.
  9. Welcome. Few people from StL around here.
  10. I'd be willing to help distribute. StL
  11. Not looking good. I have to go to Austin tomorrow. Maybe next year I will be able to make it!
  12. As stated above. Deer season isn't over until Jan 15th. Both of these our December bucks. One was shot two years ago and yesterday evening.
  13. It all depends on how much work I have that week. Being a linesman at the bottom of the seniority during a "Icey" part of the season will be interesting. So therefor hope for a nice winter storm in the springfield area right around new years and I'll volunteer to work! lol.
  14. I'll be down in Branson on the17th. Wasn't gonna take my bow down just a fishing week. Anyone else gonna go?
  15. I like Taney better myself but I love trout fishing.
  16. I've only caught a few cats trolling. Depends on if you want some big cats I would stay with live bait. Right at the Winfield dam access off 79 there is a bait shop (we call it the crack house) that sells goldfish we use for rod n reels. If you want to meet below Winfield I think we are heading out either sat or sun night.
  17. Sounds like a bunch of dumbasses.
  18. Been doing great right below the winfield dam. I know you said between the two but check out the cats and dogs part and I have a few pictures of right above the clarksville (First two) and the rest are right below the windfield. We don't go any farther than right below golden eagle ferry. We go to small creeks and ditches with a throw net or an ultra light with some small hooks and worms and catch all of our bait. The big ones were caught on buffalos. The rest were using sunfish from the 3"-4" range. If you need some more information just shoot me a message.
  19. Is that at me? And our cones are valuable! You can do it. If I lived down there I would do it but I live in stl.
  20. Fishing the meramec river last year by cardiac I seems tent on the side of the river. Not even thinking about it I fished (this was around 7am) about a half hour later an actrative older (mid 30s) lady got out in her underwear and darted back in after she seen me. I just laughed and continue to fish. About 10 minutes later she came back out clothed this time and started asking me how I was doing. We talked for about 5 minutes and seen the tent moving ready for her husband to come out. It was another woman even better looking than the first one I was talking too. My jaw just dropped thinking that this couldn't be happening. It ended up that they camp on that section of the river quite a bit but I've never seen them since. My buddy Mike was fishing the park and didn't believe me when I told him what happened.
  21. +1. Used a muzzy knock off bps brand 3 seasons ago and they sucked. After tunning I lost two does in 1 weekend. Found both the weekend after from the smell.
  22. Caught this guy on a buffalo. Fun fight but we needed up with only 7 flats all weekend. Threw back the blues so flats is all we kept.
  23. I used a tent at coopers last year but they charged me the same price as if I had a camper.
