  1. Count on it http://youtu.be/g8CXTVFF9gs
  2. Awe but Pooky you tried to shoot the moon at Joe.
  3. LMAO, she is awesome to begin with. Putting up with you makes her a Saint.
  4. I have seen him in action and he catches fish, very impressive to see a yak doing it.
  5. The one major advantage in technology I do like is vacuum bags. Makes keeping things much easier and last longer. I have Wild Game that will hold for a year, well it would if we didn't eat it all before then BEFORE it would last maybe a couple months if you froze it even with the best of care. Plus I love the idea I can mix up what I want for a meal in them and have it ready to go.
  6. Yes you can KJ and its easy to do
  7. QB the crappie we have been getting are running 13'' on average with several over 18'' each trip. On 4lb and 6lb they are putting up great fights.
  8. Outstanding report. Glad you found the brush Walters. Ya the GW has been on the jet for a while there is also a new Sherriff boat running around that is next to unmarked.
  9. Hey I was nice and did not mention the multiple attempts you made to catch the same bush. I would have thought you were trying to elect another bush lol
  10. Not a lake I would think of for having a show, with Beaver right here and on fire right now for crappie should be interesting to watch when it airs.
  11. The lack of wind was made up for in the shenanigans that went on. Its real fun fishing when someone tries to hit a bent over person in another boat with a crappie jig, or throws fish at another boater and we will not discuss the Fullmoon today. Suffice to say it was not a pg13 day on the lake.
  12. Nice looking spread of Gills.
  13. My guess is it is an under utilized fishery, or a well kept secret fishery. Tablerocks big draw is the Bass but I would guess there is a small number of anglers who figured out the trout pattern on it and have just not said anything as they would be Bigger class fish and require a great deal of leg work to figure out the pattern. I would not be shocked to learn of people catching 4 to 8lb fish that have it figured out and certainly would not be surprised to hear of bigger ones.
  14. J-doc and I met at the ramp at 6 am this morning and fished until 11:15 for 17 Crappie plus 2 shorts and a couple lost at the boat. 2 keeper Walleye 19’’ and 21’’ along with a handful of small walleye and one small but ambitious white bass. Rocky Branch area Water temp was 73.9 Visibility was 4 to 7 ft Cloudy overcast conditions little wind Bait’s were Bobby Garland in Pearl white and Flicker shad #6 Crappie wanted varying retrieves from the bottom to just below surface with the Bobby Garlands. Walleye were in 8 to 12ft and hit the flicker shad on Points. A few crappie came off the flickers in 12 fow over flats and Creek Channel ledges.
  15. If your looking to get the kids in fish the best place would be around 12 bridge, lots of whites in that area, some crappie and a few stripers and of course bass. The whites would be the primary rod benders. Second bet would be around the islands and prairie creek. followed by Coose mouth and Ventris.

  17. Ya I thought I didn't do enough with my little garden either until I realized how much I actually have that I grew. It was eye opening when I was looking at some of my custom spice mixes I make and how long they last vs paying for spice's. And then seeing the numerous canned vegies we had and even frozen ones. Now if only we could grow Blood Oranges here <sigh>.
  18. I don't know Ness, I used up the last of last years gardens in April this year I had stored up and about freaked out when I saw the cost for Green Beans and Peppers and everytime I see the price on Walnuts and Pecans I just shake my head. If I was to buy the stuff we ( can, dehydrate, roast and freeze) for storage each year I would have to guess I save at least a few hundred a year just guessing. Aint no store bought Jam or Jelly better than fresh picked and no way are the nuts as good.
  19. I didn't know it was Vogue! Heck I have been growing gardens all my life, I use to love helping my grandfather with his and when he wasn't looking I would pop out a radish and eat it fast. Those dam things always made me tell on myself after though BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRPP. Then again I do put peanuts in my coke too.
  20. From now on when people ask me why I do a garden I am just going to tell them to turn on the news and listen to all the recalls on foods. Then smile and say its nice knowing my food wont be recalled and it is truly fresh.
  21. Good report thanks
  22. Couldn't be any harder than talking about or figuring out a woman.
  23. Starky is notorious for its walleye, they like to suspend near the island and along the shore heading toward point 3.
  24. Phrases that get me. I'm mad as Hell I heard it on the news first I did not have sexual relations with that girl I did not inhale I'm looking into it And the winner I'M FIXXIN TOO! <-------Also known to my boys after uttering it as "How to get a butt whoopin by dad"! Because if they said they got it.
