Glen I have been on stripers most the week, they have been from 20 to 60ft deep over anyplace from 110 to 40ft of bottom depth. Wednesday I was spooning them off the bottom in 50 to 70 and yesterday they were in 40 to 50. Funny thing is it took me most the day yesterday to get in them but when I did the sun came out Wend the sun was out. I still have to scratch my head on that one.
I let this digest in a bit and my thoughts are this. Mako and Tracker are two very god boats I have owned both and no complaints on either. One thing I love is the no haggle here is your price. Also the warranty and ease of getting them serviced. This buy out by Basspro might be an exception to the rule of corporate take overs where products suffer. It might actually lower cost and increase quality.
Basspro looks to be growing and growing and I don't just mean their Springfield store which is always under construction. Heck before long we might see Basspro neighborhood markets where you can buy all your fishing and hunting gear and all your groceries Maybe even gas with no Ethanol. Go ahead laugh but it might not be so far fetched.
I find myself buying more stuff through them already, most mine and my wife's favorite clothing brands for sure and if the Kettlecorn cart is outside I can never pass it up. This might be a very good thing for boating
My arms are soooooooooo soar right now. 18 of 20 stripers on my 6lb spoon rod, I took most the rods out for hunting season but always keep that one in the boat. On light gear they were a blast.

The only way Bama could have played those three schools is to have played only 1 non-conference game. They had a schedule I would say was tougher than any of the other three schools in 2 3 4.
I "HOPE" That this will start making schools take on tougher opponents, but if Wins and not Strength of Schedule is the Bar for playoff positions why should they?
Hey I wanted to see Ohio they earned it through adversity with no doubt but I could also argue the Miss St had a much tougher schedule than schools above them. They are 8 with 10-2 but with the strength of schedule its an easy argument to say they should be 3 or 4 and in. Ohio only played 3 ranked opponents and Oregon and Florida's 4 to Miss st's 5 ranked opponents.
Man they need an 8 team playoff at minimum.!
Ive been reading and listening to a few stations today and hearing a ton of complaints like we didn't all expect that to happen. A lot of it centers around what the committee said they would make the top priority ( Strength of schedule ) and most of it centers around FLst and how weak they were in that yet still gets in. Many of the other arguments said YES TOP 4 RECORDS didn't matter about strength of schedule just records so why did we have a committee?
I do have to say I do agree with some of the arguments especially around FLst, Cant say I don't agree with them Baylor and TCU IMO are more deserving than fl but that's my opinion, Oh well we knew there would be controversy.
