  1. Ebay has the wave worm tiki lobsters for $9.99 for 1 pound in several colors. I bet he gets a few extra orders in the next day or so.
  2. I noticed he's on NBC sports channel also. 159 on dish 1130 am today.
  3. His fishing show is on the pursuit channel with a episode tomorrow at 8am. Typical fishing show pushing lots of fishing products. Looks like they're fishing the marina at Campbell's point down to ShellKnob. I'm sure several of you will know what other spots they fished. They threw spinners, topwater, spoons, and several other rigs.Worth watching.
  4. I went by viney this morning and found the gates are closed again.
  5. The ramp and over half the parking lot is now clear as of yesterday. I would imagine they're going to clear the rest of the lot when they get to it.
  6. In the first part of the show Rainbow Heaven Resort is shown. I believe that's in Rockaway beach.
  7. We got out late today around 3 and fished to 7. We tried to throw something else besides the ned and other plastics. We caught a few on the ned just to see if they were biting and set the ned pole down. We threw the spoon down the middle of coves and caught the little white bass and 4 black bass. On my second cast with a sexy shad deep diver in the middle of a cove I caught the 24 1/2 inch walleye. The rest of the day we threw a deep diver and caught the crappie, and several black bass. At the end of the day we threw the swimbait in front of bushes with wind on them and finished with the two keepers. If we would have stayed longer I think the bite in front of bushes would have lasted a while. Overall we only had about 20 with 4 keepers. We lost several keepers on the deep divers in coves when they jumped and threw the baits or just shook them off. Just shows you what happens if you don't throw the ned all day.
  8. We started out around 8 with no wind and a occasional topwater going on around us. We threw a white 1 oz, spoon underneath the tw bite bouncing it off the bottom. After 30 min. we caught the 3 1/2 lb. channel, 2 17 inch walleye, 5 bass including the tiny one with 1 keeper, and 5 small white bass. After the wind picked we threw a swim bait, spinner, ned , pbj full size senko, and a shakey head with a trick worm. By 4:00 we had close to 60 fish with 9 keepers with the biggest at 3 lbs. with the bloody tail. All the other keepers were spawned out. Most of our bites came from the middle of coves to the back.

  10. We fished alot of the main lake down to brush creek. We caught a little over 20 mostly spots on a mouse spinner about 10' from the bank and the other half on red tequila 10" inch worms up close to the bank. Lots of empty beds and lots of beds with males on them. Water temps varied from 58 to 64. Water clarity was 15' in beardsly branch to 2' in long creek. I threw a wart with only 1 bite and lost him at the boat. Not a good crank day even with a good wind today. We probaly had 4 keepers with nothing over 3lbs.
  11. Yep it was too late to change it.
  12. Shell Knob around the bridge has that brownish green look to it. We had to go up to Campbell's point to find cleaner water. Once we did we caught them on spinners, warts, jerkbaits and swimbaits. Water temps varied from 58 to 63.Most fish were caught 10 to 15 out.
  13. That was us yesterday when we came around the point and you had just caught one on the point coming from inside the cove. After we chatted we left and got on the wind blown bank bite.
  14. Quill we were in the white nitro yesterday and today. I'm sure we saw each other. We started close to viney and had no luck in that area. After heading down to pt.23 area we picked up around 15 with 2 keepers on points and some rock chunk banks. All ours came on the mouse spinner, square bill and the mag wart in about 15 fow. Winds were indeed howling at least up to 25.
  15. My buddy and I caught somewhere around 35 today. The morning started slow with magnum warts in brown craw in the 20' range. Ever since he had the great day throwing the mag wart a couple weeks ago, it is still the best crankbait for us in 15 to 20 depths. I've thrown the rock crawler, reg warts and a deep norman and they haven't come close to the mag wart. He has me convinced for now on the mag. We changed out the hooks and are throwing it on 8 and 10 lb. line. We had around 10 after a couple hours and then the wind started blowing in the 15 to 20 mph range. We picked up a couple off every point and then we hit windblown rock chunk banks and game on. Nothing bigger than 16 inches but a lot of 15 inch football size spots. The war eagle spinner in mouse probably picked up 10 in the last hour. Water was gin clear until we got close to the mouth of the kings. Temps varied from 56.5 in the morning to 58 around 4pm.
  16. The few coves we did fish had lots of bait in front and in the bushes all the way to the backs. I threw a squarebill for a while to see if there was bite and had no luck. Went back to the spinner.
  17. Eagle Rock area. Kings is way to muddy for me right now.
  18. We got a late start around 1030 this morning and caught 5 in the first 30 min.on brown and red warts in 10' of water. After they shut down for some reason we started throwing war eagle spinners in mouse, white, and chartreuse. For the next 3 hours we caught close to 20 and had several hit the bait short. Largest was a LM around 4 and and 4 meanies 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. Majority were spots in the keeper range with football size bellies. Water temp was close to 60 with stained water. Winds were blowing 10 to 20mph. Just about every spinner bite came in front of brush. Sorry no pics.
  19. That's what I thought when he bought them but he sure proved me wrong.
  20. Buddy of mine caught this 6/10 along with a 4, 3 1/2 and a 2 1/2 in the bigm area Friday all on the magnum wart in a couple of hours. My grandsons and I fished the kings sat. from 1 to 3 and caught 7 with 2 keepers on red wiggle warts. Water temp was 55 at 3pm. Color is a mix of brown and green on the lower and a dark green on the upper. A lot of small debri still floating down but should be clearing up in a couple of days.

  22. Here's how to watch the Classic on your tv. First you need a Screen Beam Mini 2. You insert this into one of your HDMI inlets on your tv. With my samsung5 I get the live footage and press the mirror screen on my phone to connect with the Screen Beam. It then projects onto my tv and I can watch live coverage. I got mine online but I bet most electronic stores carry them. It's also great for espn 3 or projecting video or pics from your phone.
  23. I had a buddy check at Joplin and he said they had plenty.
  24. I ordered several over the internet a month ago. I found out Bo lived in Cassville and gave him a call to cancel my order and maybe pick them up in person since i was close. After talking to him about fishing and picking up my pro jigs, i couldn't be more happier. I used them the next day with a buddy who chose to use his favorite jig. By the end of the day i was still throwing the same jig while my buddy went through several. He finally used one of mine and became hooked after coming through several brushpiles with a fish here and there. They might cost a little more but they are worth it. I still have my original on from fishing that day. They do work. I have several colored skirts that i buy so next time if i ever lose any i will buy the naked heads only. I had a good day yesterday after 3 pm. throwing a war eagle spinner in mouse on shallow banks. Only 7 in a hour and a half with 3 keepers but i had several more just smack the spinner. I also threw a jig, wart, jerk and squarebill with no luck.
  25. Temps were almost 65 up in the Kings yesterday. I know it's going to cool off again with the cooler weather forecasted but when the spawning fish aren't as visible because of the Kings, James, and Long Creeks color what do you guys like to throw to find those beds with the big females on them?
