Right now I'm planning to fishing Friday and Saturday I'll have my boat and can handle two extra. Ditto on what Quill said. Gonna have some low 20s in the mornings possibly. Love it!

My son and I decided to do some Black Friday fishing today. It's the first time I've had the blazer wet in almost 3 months, as y'all can probaly tell I've been pretty quiet on here lately. For me, my fishing season has started again. We almost set in the deer stand stand today but decided to make the drive to the river after not fishing in awhile. Action was slow early with the only thing scoring any fish was that new 3 inch craw. As the evening progressed and we moved to another spot the shade had taken over this area, and the fishing picked up the water is low and clear and the shade seems to,help . The last hour of light had the best action of the day. My son caught his first and biggest sauger I've seen come out of there, he really had his retrieve figured out on his grub towards the end of the day and scored some decent smallies. Didn't catch any really big smallies but caught some decent and chunky ones. I had one nice spotted bass up to the boat before it got off. Great evening on the river and it felt good to something other than work, the harvest season was a longer one this year, but a good one! Was blessed to,get back on the river with my little buddy!

J doc. My lab chewed the cable into that goes to the transducer on my helix 9. There are several wires in there. Gonna try to splice and shrink wrap it. Should I be concerned about doing this and being water proof and all.

How do you like the blazer fishing white River? I'm tempted to bring mine this year for jig fest instead of the trout boat just because I have the ultrex on it.

Yep, it was bound to happen Pete being you was before the serial number break. They get that new style sensor in there it be good to go. Mine has worked fine since. Of course I haven't been able to fish since harvest so have t tried it since Labor Day. Lol

Y'all might want to help billethead pitch in my cooker holds 8.5 gallon. I love peanut oil but for large groups I avoid it because of allergies many have with peanuts. I'll bring a few gallon of vegetable oil. If y'all want to pitch in the rest that woulda be great

Pete, he says that number is before the change, so it could be possible yours could do the same thing.

As far as an update on the new sensor I had installed I have used the motor twice and it has worked flawlessly, I think the new motors with the new updated sensor is going to be fine!
