And my wife goes off like a mortar shell at the mere mention of it. But I don't think it needs to be outlawed wholesale, since circumstances vary.

Absolutely not a problem. Matter of fact, I think everyone would like to believe that, if they could. But since you believe that, it kind of makes abortion not such a bad thing, doesn't it? Almost Christ-like.....Parent goes willingly to hell (like a sacrificial lamb) so that her child can go immediately to heaven. Somebody should write a hymn about that.

None of us know who he is. All we know about God is what is written in the bible....and the Bible is loaded with fallacies, and tales that we all know are inaccurate. Someone acting as though they believe all of that probably doesn't harm anyone. But a person who pretends to believe it.....even though they truly don't, is not fooling anyone. Especially God, providing he does exist and have control over anything. I think the biggest misconception among Christians is that a person can't be a "good person" unless they believe the words of the bible. Believing should mean BELIEVING (literally), not merely "accepting it as true". Simply saying that you believe means nothing. And IMO anyone with a properly working brain can't HONESTLY accept any of the religious teachings as TRUTH. Now, that being said......if living with, and openly sharing those truthful feelings results in me spending an eternity in hell.....then so be it. Because I not only have doubts that heaven exists.....I also can see no (zero) evidence that "hell" exists either. I don't require fear of some mystical boogieman watching over me to keep me in line.....But maybe some folks do, therefore religion may have an important societal purpose. And if that's the case then I wish it worked better, because statistically there are no (zero) Atheists in prison. None working in government, the IRS, or license bureau's either. 😅

I totally understand Technique Snobbery now, but I haven't always understood it. I'd much rather hang out with a few dryfly, or broken-water nymph fishermen than I would a bunch of glo-ball/bobber drifting outlet cranes. I'd much rather hunt White bass on the flats with a flyrod, even though I could just run windy points with a Roostertail or a 1/4oz. Rattle trap and load the boat in half the time. It isn't just a FISHING thing either........An archery kill at 15 yards is far more satisfying than a 150 yard kill with a .270 Winnie. Regardless of the size of the headgear. And a turkey called-in is way cooler than a Tom busted off the roost. Nobody could deny that. Bluffing the entire table and raking-in a huge pile, with three 9's in your hand, is sweeter than throwing down a straight flush. 😁

😅 Yeah....I edited that video in after sitting here for 30 minutes racking my brain, then finally googled it. The one I have actually replaced the original TM mount, so it's one-piece. Here, I dug it out.

My only complaint about elaztech (or however it is spelled) is that the material is toxic, and has a strange shelf life. I had a handful of original packages in a storage container, that had been opened but resealed, and the contents dried up and turned into something that I might have tried to smoke if I had been hard-up for a buzz. Can't tell you how many weird looking gobs of goo I have found clogging up bilge pumps and livewell recirculating pumps.....that were once little Neds. They'll eat right through SeaDeck flooring too. Ain't nothin Holy about that stuff ! If anything it comes straight from Hell. 😅 The devil's suppository!
