I have enough accidental death life insurance that I'm worth more dead than alive. Taking occasional chances is something I do out of love for my family. 🙂

I've tried the getting up early thing, it doesn't sit well with me. If I get up at 6-7:00 during the winter it's too cold to do anything until almost noon, so I sit at the kitchen table drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes, and looking out the window for 3-4 hours. What's the point? I might as well stay in bed, it's healthier that way.

Gonna refresh the water pump, fuel pump diaphragm, and hoses....cuz they are a little stiff and dry, and sell her with a 5year warranty. The thing should be in the outboard hall of fame ! She'll still be running strong when the POS brand-new 4-stroke bought yesterday......is in a landfill. 👍

But as it has turned out I wish they'd have all remained civilians, and not potentially risked, or given, their lives. I'm glad that you have something to thump your chest about now......but YOU didn't accomplish jack $#!t on your own......like I did. So F.O. with all your "I served my country, and you didn't" BS. For the life of me I can't seem to understand the desire for split-grip style handles on fishing rods. And nearly every rod company is building their entire lineup that way now. Seriously, what's the deal with that ?

Statistically, when you start talking statistics of land travel vs. air travel, you first must even the playing field. Put as many airplanes in the sky as there are vehicles on the ground.......THEN we can compare statistics. 😅

I don't see it as irrational. Everyone has their own logic and reasoning, and therefore sets their own personal limits. You'll never see me riding a motorcycle on the highway around here either. Too many deer smears on the roads.....just doesn't feel smart to ME. Everyone else can go right ahead if they want. 👍
